Had friends in from out of town on a Saturday night and tried to dine 30 minutes before closing. Concierge was very rude and turned us away, stating that they already had too much business for the night.

We treat every Person that comes thru our door with kindness and respect. We truly appreciated every guest that stops in. Whether we are able to accommodate them or not. This is the way we have conducted Business for 18 years. We explained to this reviewer that there was 12 tables ahead of them and we would never get to... More

Small place. Very friendly staff. The food is beyond belief. I've been eating crab cakes for 50 years and their rendition may have been the best I've ever had. The shrimp and jalapeño dip was to die for as well.

We strolled in with 6 of us on a Saturday night and just beat the rush. The food was good and service was friendly. The shrimp cakes were especially delicious, and the kids menu was decent too. Worth the stop esp. for the money.

This is a don't miss location for a trip to Wilmington. Superb food quality and unique presentation. All fresh and nothing fried. Specials are worth getting and make sure to pick out an appetiser. Small place may mean long wait times but it is worth the wait. Great Caribbean atmosphere takes you to the islands with authenticity

I've eaten at Dock Street twice, and both times I've been amazed at how affordable my check has been. This past time I had a sangria, salad, a dozen oysters, and a piece of pie for $38. The menu is mostly seafood, but some of it is prepared in interesting ways, like steamed mussels. The two drinks that I have... More

Longtime visitors to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, but unbelievably our first to downtown. After our own personal pub crawl, a local bartender recommended Dock Street for an excellent seafood experience, SO GLAD WE ASKED!!!!! This is exactly what we were looking for, a local, casual, friendly seafood dinner and drinks. From the minute we walked inside and up to the bar, the... More

We stopped in for dinner while visiting Wilmington. I love fresh oysters, and they did not disappoint! The cocktail specials were creative and affordable, and the food was fresh. It's a little small, so I'd say avoid peak times if you want to get a table. We liked the funky decor, and the waitstaff was very friendly...if you're looking for... More

Had the shrimp and crab leg cluster with corn on the cob and potatoes. As usual the seafood was fantastic. The corn was a little mature, but edible. Overall a great meal, especially when washed down with a good beer. The service was also outstanding. One of the best in Wilmington.

I just enjoyed the Butter Pecan Pie with Whipped Topping. Awesome! Great local spot! Downtown location near the river. Bartender, Jeri, very nice and helpful.

Stopped in for a mid afternoon snack and a cold beer with my spouse and best friends. Fun little joint where they take their food seriously. We had oysters raw/steamed, calamari (steamed, they don't fry here) and a couple of local brews. Lots of fun and great personal service. We are from Richmond and love oysters so we asked where...
