I went to Casey's last month June 2020 for lunch. The waitress who seated me was very nice. While waiting for her to bring my tea I looked around and saw dead flies in the inside window sill. I looked down and saw a very...old dirty ratty and worn wall to wall rug. Pieces of the rug actually got caught in my shoe. I followed this rug to the buffet where I got a plate of food even though the buffet itself looked unclean. I would have hated to see the food prep area. I think the Mayor, Governor, food inspector or someone with power should see that food is being served in this place and have it shut down. I bet they won't post this review.More

This is one of the best buffets in town. To note, to only be eaten on cheat days! I truly wish there were healthier items so would could support them more often but it is what it is.

My Sister and I were in Wilmington, 3:00pm that evening. Both were hungry, I was in the mood for "Soul food". Our local "Soul Food restaurant in our town has closed down "years" ago. And it has been "years" since we had "Soul Food". As...adventurous as we are, We decided to try some place new to dine in before heading out of town. We decided to try Casey's Buffet. Their site looked very appealing. And both decided to give this place a try. However, when we walked in,the place looked run down and the air smelled offensive. When being shown the "Buffet Bar",the food displayed looked old, over done, and the food bar- unkept. The Desert Bar did not look cold enough or fresh either-unkept. And it appeared too close to the Hot Bar, Despite the appearances and observations recieved, we decided to overlook it and be not quick to judge. When we seated ourselves after dishing ourselves out, We unwrapped our utensils and about to eat. My Sister unwrapped hers and found her utensils pre-used,unclean and sticking together. When My Sister secretly braught this to our waitress attention, We did not recieve any empathy or an an apology. Just given new utensils and that was all. Just after her second turn, the Waitress without delay, issued us our bill. We were both speechless, disappointed, and felt awkward about our dining experience.More

The most Southern cooking I've ever seen in a restaurant. I'm talking everything from collard greens to pigs feet. Great fried chicken, tons of food options that was all absolutely delicious. It is a minimum of $14 per person just for the buffet, so make...sure you come hungry to make it worth your while!More

I love the concept and the food is very good. However the health rating was 84! No excuse. Didn't see this until after I had eaten. Low Star rating because of health grade.

Every time i go the food and service is great. They have the best country style veggies in the area. And will cook to order some of the items like pork chops.

This buffet is good on occasion to eat for some home cooked comfort food. Unfortunately it is not on the healthy or diet side so hence the on occasion.

Excellent lunch buffet with a large choice of well prepared veggies and meats. The pork pulled BBQ was great. The fried chicken mouth watering. Don't be put off by the older building, aged interior, and plain buffet. It's checked regularly by the health department and...gets a solid score. Super friendly staff. And if you are looking for pigs feet or chitterlings, they have that too discretely available at the end of the buffet. This is the kind of place Anthony Bourdain would have featured had he been visiting this area. If you need something that looks a bit more sterile, try the K&W Cafeteria a little closer to town. The desserts were a little disappointing but you likely will be too full to need any. It was filled with locals at lunch on a Friday.More

Stopped here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. So glad we did !! Food was delicious and plentiful. We wanted to stop eating but the food was too good and the desserts fresh! We will definitely be back!
