We were back last night after a couple of years absence. Menu updated from our last visit, but excellent choices for dinner. Known for Tapas, but much beyond. I tried a delicious Hanger Steak with sides of cauliflower in a tempting wine reduction. Wife enjoyed cauliflower with scallops and we drank very good wines. Desserts were "mini's", mine chocolate and... More

When we walked in I thought the decor was nicely done and I like how open it was. When I read about the establishment online it was described as a fine dinning Resturant which was completely false. There was a family dinning in with a little girl who was loud and would not sit down and kept running up n down... Our table of five had very good wine, five perfectly cooked meals and two amazing desserts (seven layer chocolate and almond joy cake). Our meal was as good or better than any meal you can find in any top restaurant. To some it is pricey, but the value is there.! Highly recommend.

My friend suggested we stop here for a quick bite since they only serve a full tapas menu. There is a tapas menu however it wasn't what she described it to be. I think they might have changed the menu since she last checked (possibly last year) and added some entrees to the selections. Regardless of what I expected, the... More

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. We started with cocktails and progressed to wine, small plates and a large plate. There is a very extensive wine list. We had the Cheese and Charcuterie plate, mushroom bruschetta, and the paella and they were all delicious. Our server (Robert) was the best. The restaurant was packed and he treated us as if... More

Really enjoyed our evening meal at Circa 1922. Our service was excellent and the our seafood choices were deliciously complimented. The bulgar wheat and cauliflower served with my scallops were so nicely flavored that the scallops could have been salted much less. The Circa Restaurant Group owns this and several other restaurants in the Wilmington area. All of them are... More

This place is gorgeous! The room, bar, upstairs all lovely and inviting. Sadly, the food was well below what I had expected of this "upscale" restaurant. There were 4 of us, we ordered the Paella, 2 separate orders, and 2 orders of the Snapper entrees. The Paella was horrible. It was mushy, lacked any real flavor that a typical Paella... More

My work colleagues and I had dinner at Circa this week. We were staying at the Hilton Waterfront,it is walking distance to this location or a short drive from the Hilton. I had the pot roast with carrots and squash which is the perfect comfort food on a winter's night. The others at our table had delicious meals. The desert... More

The restaurant feels very comfortable with the exposed wood and brick and soft lighting. The service is attentive and accommodating. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, I had the lobster gnocchi. Both dishes were wonderful. The wine list is extensive. Only sorry we didn't save room for dessert, because the offerings all seemed delicious.
