Large group dinner which has been held here for several years in a row. Never again. Very slow to get food, took hours. Food Luke warm and extremely overpriced. Added gratuity of course despite poor experience. So many other better options!!!

I loved my duck tonight. It had a rich flavor. The sausage and sweet and sour cabbage was also delicious. The High Fashion was spot on! Waiters were attentive and quick to notice our needs.

Everything on the menu looks absolutely amazing. They have wonderful starters that are plenty big to share. The salads are delicious and also quite large. I love their seafood and the combinations they offer. I would highly recommend this for a special occasion or date...night.More

We are there last night, the first thing I ordered they were out of, the second thing I ordered they were out of so I settled on a $32 steak. When it came, it was overcooked and I've gotten thicker steaks at Western Sizzling. The...sides that came with it were wrong. To top it off I got one glass of wine and it was $18. Don't waste your time on Port Land Grill.More

My husband and I would occasionally treat ourselves to wonderful meals at Portland Grill in pre- COVID times . We returned last weekend for our first post Covid meal out. Much to our surprise, the entrees were very disappointing. I, for instance, always have ordered...fish and found it to be deliciously prepared. This time, however, the choices for preparations were not very appealing,. Nonetheless, I ordered the black grouper with quinoa, artichokes, and olives. Unfortunately, the quinoa salad overpowered the fish which seemed to be very bland. I think if we return I will ask for the fish to be grilled with some vegetables on the side. Please simplify your menu!More

This is very special restaurant with a unique menu and personalized service. Calvin was our waiter for our evening and he made our dinner celebration for my husband’s birthday extra special. I had the sea bass and my husband had the porterhouse. Both were perfectly...prepared and the accompanying side options were so unique. Great wine menu too. We will absolutely return.More

As I said with heavy heart. I was there this past weekend with a party of 8. Under standing we are still under strange times. A couple of the main items were out. 3 of us got the cowboy steak all order medium rare. Steaks...were medium and tough. Very hard to cut . But I must say sides and appetizers did not disappoint or desserts, service was good. But not what I’m used to there. Hopefully it was just a off night. It was to celebrate 2 birthday s and one job promotion.Again it’s with heavy heart to write thisMore

We were a table of four, out to celebrate my birthday. The most positive thing I can say is the restaurant was clean. It took an hour to get our salad and another hour for our food. When we addressed the manager about the wait,...she never really apologized she just had several excuses. By the time our food came my broccoli was chard, I'm not sure I had the correct sauce on my fish and the potatoes were not done. We all had something to say about our food. I have never written a bad review, but this was over the top. Don't botherMore

Made a New Years Eve dinner reservation here after reading all of the positive reviews. Staff were all very attentive and polite, the food was brought out at appropriate intervals to allow for a non-rushed experience and most importantly the food was great! We will...be back and thank you for the wonderful experience.More

Tonight we had an excellent meal and a great time here. Food, service, even outside dining all were expertly done. Preparation and presentation of each course was so well done. The duck breast was perfect as were the sides while my wife’s lamb was tender,...juicy and flavorful. A great place to come see.More

While visiting Wilmington for our 25th Anniversary my husband made a reservation at PortLand Grille and it made our entire weekend trip WORTH IT! I’ll start by saying we’ve eaten all over the map, NYC, Boston, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Vegas, Scottsdale, Austin, Atlanta, Napa:Sonoma, San...Francisco, Hawaii, London.... the list goes on. And we both agreed this was hands down in our top 5 meals we’ve ever had! We were seated in a quiet corner (as requested) and had a GEM of a server in Tracy. If you don’t request her, you are missing out. She was beyond helpful, fun, professional, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu and the perfect amount of attentive and such a delight! We started our meal with the U10 shrimp (you choose how many you’d like to order) and a glass of Brut Champagne. We then split the wedge salad which I will warn, even as a split, was almost a meal in and of itself but delicious nonetheless! Choosing our entree was not easy as the entire menu looked incredible, but Tracy helped again with that decision and I chose the beef tenderloin and my husband had the duck. I never ever eat duck (not a fan and often find them gamey) but had a bite of my husband’s and it was superb! The sauce alone was out of this world. But my tenderloin filet was the winner here for me. Cooked to perfection at med-rare it literally melted in my mouth with flavor like a pat of butter 🤤. The green beans were perfect and the twice baked potato was also. And again our server paired the perfect wine with it for us after listening to our preferences. Full as we were, we couldn’t resist the incredible dessert menu and opted for the coconut cake I’d read so much about. Be forewarned it is HUGE but just stunning to taste. Not too rich, not too dense, but just the right amount of coconut and sweetness and thank goodness it traveled well as we barely made a dent in it, but again, WORTH IT! Thank you Portland Grille for making our anniversary dinner one for the books 👌🏼More

The place has a nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. as we were part of a party of 8, I ordered crab dip appetizer which was delicious, Bud Lights, and the bone in Cowboy medium rare rib eye steak, roasted Brussels spouts and the fancy french...fries. The served plate looked very hurriedly thrown together with the big portion of meat laid on top of the sprouts and the fries in separate container also on the plate. The star of the order the rib eye was over-charred on the outside and it's meat was tough and chewy with an excess of fat, in fact there were several bites that had to be spit out into my napkin, uneatable. I didn't taste any seasoning in the meat and only only got thru half of it before taking the rest home to the dogs. The Brussels sprouts were limp and over done. It wasn't a good meal for me especially considering it was a $170 ticket for two. The tab ticket came back incorrect twice and had to be re issued twice. Like I said it was an off night for a simple meal at the Port Land Grille.More
