My daughter, who is an expert on crab legs, says they were the best ever! I had a ribeye that was big, juicy and cooked just right. Hush puppies are addictive. And Colton made the evening perfect by being friendly, efficient and attentive. Thank you...for a wonderful evening.More

My daughter and I were looking for seafood restaurant. Decided to give this a try from reading some reviews on Trip Advisor. They require masks, however some of the employees don’t wear correctly. Mostly with nose uncovered. Employees don’t wear gloves. It bothered me a...little that there doesn’t seem to be any guidelines for what the staff should wear? Hostess wearing “booty shorts”, waitress wearing spandex. The food was ok. I had fried shrimp with corn and French fries. Won’t be going out of our way to go back if passing through again.More

Disappointed with take out order. Did not get cole slaw, hush puppies or any condiments with either entree. It was not good and would not recommend.

I will start with the one positive. the crab cakes were decent. They also did a good job of social distancing for the patrons and staff wearing mask. As far as the rest of the meal, it was horrible. No seasoning or flavor in anything....Even something as simple as fried shrimp. They didnt appear to be freshly cooked even though they were not busy. I also tried the collards and I'm pretty sure they came from the can. Normally the waitress will ask how is everything tasting however she did not because I'm sure she could tell since most of the food was left on the plate and we declined to go boxes. I would not recommend this place. Try Elijah's in Wilmington.More

Ordered takeaway from Boathouse. Fresh fish carefully prepared. Very large portions. The combos will feed two people. Very reasonably priced. Fast service.

From the outside, this restaurant doesn’t look like much. However, the food was really delicious and fresh. Very simple basic seafood with no frills. Would eat here again if in the area.

Excellent calabash style seafood but many other styles and items available. Sandwiches and burgers are good too but I'm all about the seafood platters. Excellent portions. Most of the time I'm taking home some leftovers. One of my favorites in Wilmington.

The food is excellent and great value. I got the platter and my wife went with the shrimp. They stay busy so getting there early is a good idea.

When we pulled up to the building, I was hesitant to stay because it wasn’t eye appealing. Once inside it looked like a local dining place. Nothing special. BUT. They had crab legs & shelled shrimp. YUM!!!! I ordered both & was amazed. Definitely delicious!...My daughter ordered a rib-eye & was very disappointed with all the fat. There wasn’t much meat & was still hungry afterwards. I would definitely go back for the shell fish.More

We moved recently to Nashville because our house flooded during Hurricane Florence. It's hard to find good seafood in Nashville - not as good as Coastal NC. So we ate at the Boathouse on Oleander Dr last week when we were there visiting family. We...all ordered the fried shrimp, and it was awesome - so fresh, lightly breaded and delicious. The hush puppies were good too - they don't serve hush puppies in Nashville. However, the green beans and blackeyed peas were not seasoned & quite bland. But it's worth the trip to the Boathouse for the fried shrimp. We will definitely go back for the fried shrimp when we make another Wilmington trip.More

I am not sure if they served egg whites, as it is not on the menu. But, perhaps if you ask the manager, I am sure they would probably meet your needs.
