A creative little restaurant in a cool neighborhood near the riverfront. Great place for a couples' night out. Not for young kids. Excellent food, nice wine list. Sunday nights select bottles are half price: got a very good Syrah for $20! If you're in the Wilmington area don't miss, but make reservations well in advance.

This restaurant is one of the top 5 restaurants that Wilmington can boast about since I moved here in 1970. We had attended a meeting in Charlotte many years ago and visited a restaurant that we liked so much that we ate there 2 nights in a row. Little did we know that the chef/owners would eventually move to Wilmington.... More

This is the second time I've been here. Excellent service & food. I always come here when in the Wilmington area. First visit I had the duck confit... Delicious!! This time I had the lamb shank... Meat was tender but had a very strong gamey taste. The mussels are a MUST with a large side of bread as the sauce... More

As much as we enjoy authentic French cuisine Caprice Bistro excels and we have no complaints about the quality of the food or service. However, on Saturday night dining in the ground floor level the noise level was high and we felt cramped eating so close to our neighbors on both sides of our table. Some restaurants that are this... Experienced Chef with wonderful options! I found it very flavorful and the wine list was great! The building is historic and offers a lot of old character!

After eating here at Caprice Bistro, I have to reevaluate and lower some of what I used to give five stars, this really raises the bar for the Wilmington Area & is truly FIVE STARS. This brings back memories of what it was like to enjoy real Fine Dining at places such as Four Seasons & Club 21 in Manhatten.... More

Having visited both Paris and Brussels several times, this restaurant brings me back, with both the atmosphere and the food. A favorite dish here is the waterzooie ( which I'm sure I've misspelled), but this time we were here for the Bastille Day set menu. The escargot arrived in a delicious sauce. I found my rabbit entree to be tough,... More

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Always delicious and consistent. We love to sit upstairs at the bar, the atmosphere is a bit more laid back and cozy

Returned this year and wasn't disappointed. My husband had the duck and I had the lamb shank. Both were prepared to perfection. Cozy atmosphere, Great hospitality. Will return.
