Went for a date night, mussels and cheese plate were delicious. Cocktails were overpriced and not very good. Service was terrible. Took over 5 minutes to be greeted and the restaurant was pretty empty. Once we were finally seated, took OVER 10 minutes for server to even approach our table! Really disappointed and not worth the money for the terrible... More

We ate at Caprice Bistro before heading to Thalian Hall. The waitress was very good about making sure we were on time for the performance. The food and service were excellent. We ordered from the fixed price menu and were delighted with the entire meal. The salad was huge, salmon very tasty and the dessert heavenly. Everyone raved about their... More

Located on Market Street, close to the Cape Fear, this restaurant always provides great food and great service. It's a 'go to' place for any occasion. I had the special the last time I was there and could barely finish it.. but, I did! The Tomato Tarte Tatin is a must have.

Waitress realized we were on a schedule and accommodated our needs perfectly. Our table of four selected three fixed price dinners ($25) which were delicious and one menu dinner -- equally good. Frite pommes are ALWAYS the right accompanying side item. Dessert was over the moon.

Visiting Wilmington from England we looked up Trip Advisor to choose somewhere to dine and went to Caprice. I had the Waterzooi as another diner had recommended it. It was "sublime". It could have been but that might have been because I ate it slowly as I didn't want it to end! My husband had that day's special of coq... More

This is an outstanding French bistro that has it all. We were visiting Wilmington after a 3 year hiatus and looked forward to an evening at this fine restaurant, though wondered if it still was as good as we remembered. Chef Thierry Moity's kitchen is still providing top flight meals in a relaxed atmosphere at really excellent prices considering the... More

Caprice Bistro on the edge of the Cape Fear River and the center of the quaint city of Wilmington NC is an incredibly superb dinner experience comparable to any of top restaurants in larger metropolitan areas. The menu of this French-Belgian oriented cuisine is truly a gourmet experience; moreover is always consistent and reliable. The service is superb and the... More

Went to dinner on Saturday night. Looks like a nice place, great staff , pleasant . An hour after leaving sick for six hours and out of it for three days. Completely ruin my five day vacation. I'm sure it was from the salmon. Very disappointed and the Marriott recommended this place.

What a great restaurant! 5 of us ate, and all agreed that the meal was one of the best we have had in a long time. We had a 30 min wait for a table, which was easy to do in the sofa bar. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Katie (our waitress) was fun and full of good advice.... More
