The staff and service is very slow and when you finally get your food it is mediocre at best. Seems like the other Sagebrush are much better outside of Wilkes. If your interested in trying it out go outside of Wilkes to eat

We had not been to Sagebrush in a while, so we decided to check it out since it re-opened. We went for lunch. It was a late lunch so there were few patrons there. We each ordered the sirloin steak meal. I have a history...of always getting a steak too rare or too done, I'm happy to say today, I got a medium rare as requested. The service was excellent, our waitress was very attentative. Good for groups and children. Give it a try.More
We stopped in for a date night. Despite knowing the place had been Burnt in a fire. We thought it would be okay. We were wrong. The place had an order like a gas station restroom. The wait staff was friendly. The food was well...I’ve had better. Our drinks glasses were never attend to. No dinner rolls and my order was wrong. After seeing the manger try to deal with an unsatisfied customer. I didn’t have the heart to complain when she asked with a look I’ve seem before ( hopeful)if everything was good. I just smiled and said it was okay. I’m sorry to say we will not be back. The place use to be very good and always full of people. Sadly last night there was hardly anyone in there. Not worth the 60$ we were changed.More
We walked over to the restaurant from the Hampton Inn. Building needed a little tlc on the outside. We were seated at the only table without a lightbulb in the overhead lamp. Service was good. Food was very good. Very fresh dinner rolls. Potato soup...was thick and tasty. My husband had salmon which was in a light sauce. He said it was good and cooked properly. Would come back.More
The service was slow the night we visited. There were very few cars in the parking lot when we arrived there on a Wednesday at 6pm so we thought perhaps we wouldn't have a long wait. Our appetizers; onion petals and fried pickles were very...good, crispy, and hot. My steak, ordered medium rare, was raw in the middle (cold to the touch). I sent it back and the second time around it was cooked perfect. The steak was delicious, but the service was too slow. We had 3 different servers, one took our drink order, another delivered our appetizer, another delivered our entrees. Two of the three servers were very friendly and apologetic for the slow service. The restaurant could use a good cleaning.More
When the menu promises "butter" but all they have to offer is margarine, it's probably a good idea to cut your losses and go somewhere else. Our server was not knowledgeable about the menu, at all, and seemed much more interested in taking care of...her other tables than us, although the other guests kept waving to her for things they needed also. It wasn't busy and she had very little to do, but she made us feel like we were bothering her every time we asked for something that should have been obvious, like a drink refill when our glasses were empty. Sirloin tips were tough and had no flavor. The portion was small, although it was a lunch special, so maybe I should have expected that. Broccoli had OK flavor but was mushy. The sweet potato was terrible looking and not fresh. Overall a very disappointing experience. I can't imagine going back.More
Best steaks around. Great service. All the food is good. Good atmosphere. Great cooks and waitresses.
Thank you for your kind comments! We hope to see you again soon! Christine
Ordered two triple b burgers, asked for no lettuce, tomato, or pickles. We go two cheese burgers. No bacon, no bourbon sauce, no crispy onions (so, not any of the triple b fixings). But it had the lettuce, tomato, pickle, and raw onions we specifically...them to NOT add. Pretty lame when they screw up an easy order. We were told fifteen to twenty minutes, but it wasn’t ready on time. Was for a birthday dinner. Very disappointing. Be sure to check any order you place. We won’t be going backMore

This restaurant is located across the parking lot from the Hampton Inn where my co-workers and I stayed. When looking through our local dining choices, I said "I'll take convenience over quality". I regretted my words. The place was certainly convenient. We went for dinner...a little after six and there was only a scattering of cars in the lot. As soon as we went inside we were hit with the foul smell of what smelled like toilets or a sewer backup. It seemed to get a little better as we continued into the hostess station, but in truth, it never left. Decor is going for western style which seems out of place. Our server was very pleasant and service was just fine. A missed item here or there, but nice attitude and came back to check several times. The food was all ok. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. Beer was cold - so that was probably the best thing of the night. There were some other local choices and I could only say to try them. Your convenience is not worth it.More

Went here Friday evening, it was busy, parking lot had at least 20 cars; I had to be seated in the back of dining room, which is no problem because it’s just an extension with the same feel as the front. Ordered Texas two-step, chose...plain seared salmon medium doneness which was excellent and fresh: also chose baby-back ribs, which was a half rack, but huge amounts of meat. Had two sides of broccoli which were in a bath of melted butter, also fresh and tender. All this food, which was very filling and satisfactory, for $20. (Don’t order green beans, overly salty and weird texture.) Jennifer wait staff was friendly and attentive to my drink refills without asking. Meal was steered with dinner rolls pasted with butter. Rolls were soft and warm. Great value, and will keep me coming back.More
