My husband and I found this restaurant once on a vacation to the area. We were riding around and found it. It's great! Food's delicious and staff is friendly. We frequent this place now almost everytime we're in town. Have taken family members there too. Great place!

The Filet and Mushrooms as well as the Hibachi Chicken are so good. Try the Crab Rangoon appetizer and ask for ginger dressing on the salad...delicious. The service is excellent. We love this place and have returned many times.

Service and food always good here. Most recent visit, steak and chicken hibachi combo was especially good. Their ginger dressing is excellent. They are best known for their hibachi plates, but their Chinese appetizers are also very good. $5.99 lunch specials.

This is a typical Japanese restaurant in small town America. You know what you're getting. But, it was good and the price was right. I would definitely eat her again.

don't be put off by the unprepossessing atmosphere. service is courteous, menu expensive, food is good and reasonably priced. plus, very few other choices in town other than fast food chains.

We took a party of four to Shokudo for lunch while we were on vacation. We each ordered from the menu. Each of us was very pleased with our lunch which included a green salad with a very light and refreshing ginger dressing. We are going back for dinner tonight before we leave for home tomorrow.

Our most recent visit to Shokudo, we all decided to have the teriyaki chicken lunches, which include salads. Salad with ginger dressing was crisp and fresh, very nice. The hibachi entrees were excellent, generous portions of chicken and veggies with their signature carrots, rice, and shrimp sauce, which seems to be tasty on anything. The owner was our server....she's always... More

This is the best asian food in the county. Considering there are only two places in town to eat, I would choose Shokudos over Osaka 10/10 times. Service here is great and I've never had any problems.

We live part time about 3 miles from this restaurant. It is some of the most inedible Asian food I have ever tasted. The staff is accommodating.

Staff is very kind. However, this place is DIRTY! My wine glass was so DIRTY it couldn't be seen through. Our food was not at all what we expected from a Japanese steakhouse. Carrots are straight from a can. Both my husband and I ordered steak medium rare and it came out very well done. The entire restaurant was DIRTY.... More
