My Family and I ate breakfast here this morning for the first time. I had the Ol'timer and it was very yummy. The bacon is cooked perfectly. My Husband ordered the bagel sandwich and he enjoyed that. My mom ordered pancakes and loved it. We...will definitely return. The lunch menu looks good too.More

Ok breakfast. Gravy, food rather bland, needed much salt and pepper added. Service was friendly. Kitschy decor. Huge moose head watching over you as you eat if that doesn’t bother you. 😂 would eat here again if visiting, but bring some seasonings.

The place was packed for breakfast, so we thought perhaps it had improved. We returned for a late lunch. The place was empty, they were cleaning up from the morning rush. The pinto beans were served luke warm (at best) and were so watered down,...there was no flavor and maybe - (seriously) maybe 25 beans in a bowl of broth. It never occurred to me that you could ruin a serving of pinto beans. Spouse ordered breakfast - eggs, potatoes, etc. Served warm - not hot. I truly don't know how they stay in business. I believe the server saw what a terrible experience it was and charged us half price. It wasn't worth even that.More

If you're looking for chip beef on toast, or other traditional, sometimes harder-to-find breakfasts, you'll be delighted with the Hillbilly Grill. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. No light breakfasts here.

This restaurants fits the name of Hill Billy. While it is laid back our waitress was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The hot dogs with chilly were very tasty. The food is good basic home style southern food.

We had eaten here when we were in the area about five years ago and really enjoyed it. This time it was terrible. First of all, none of the staff was masked as required by NC currently. Our breakfast plates arrived to the table very...cold. My husband attempted to eat his. I asked them just to stick mine in microwave for 10 seconds. After 5 minutes of waiting, the plate came back inedible. We paid for the meal and I asked the waitress if the restaurant had changed hands, which it had. I told her our meal was terrible to which she replied, “You should have told me before you paid.”More

We passed by on our way through town. The breakfast all day sign caught our eye because many places were starting to serve lunch. We ate on the front patio and the food was delicious! I ordered the Daily Special with a pancake and it...was huge, one of the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the Belly Buster and he said it was very flavorful and a lot of food. Great great place to stop if you’re passing through.More

We did not eat at the Hillbilly Grill because it was in violation of North Carolina Health Department guidelines. The servers were not wearing masks as is required. We walked in and then turned and left when we realized this.

I'm not much of a grit person so I really can't say. I would suggest perhaps going with potatoes instead! :) Seriously, if you get undercooked anything at a restaurant just send it back/ask for a replacement. I'm sure... More
