We are staying about 10 minutes away. Saw this place on Main Street Weaverville and decided to give it a try. Excellent. Fresh ingredients on fresh baked rolls. The Asian pasta salad was a great side. Walk across the street and enjoy your delicious sandwich...in the park on a picnic table. We even saw a groundhog to add to the nature experience. Highly recommend this restaurant and to enjoy it in the park across the streetMore

We had and almond bar. The best pastry I’ve eaten in a very long time. Totally decadent! This place is awesome and will be even better post covid. Be aware that you can’t go in and have to wait outside where they have a little...window to order. They also have a lunch menu but we didn’t try anything.More

Everything is amazing here. We bought a selection of sweets, and they were all delicious! It is closed for dine-in right now, but we ordered online and it was ready for pickup when we got there. The coffee was some of the best I have...had!More

Large menu with desserts, cakes and quiche. Alas you cannot go inside to see what it all looks like so have to stand in the street and play a to go order. I asked for a walnut ice cream sandwich and got in the car...and left, to realize later it was a chocolate chip one. It was good though, but not what I paid for.More

While this bakery is only serving takeout at the moment we enjoyed our take away very much. The key lime pie we had was the best we think we ever had and we live in Florida! My husband enjoyed the eclair. We also just had...to sample the peanut butter pie which was delightful.More

The choices for freshly made lunches are amazing. It is very easy to make a quick stop to get a lunch to go. Their Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich is always great.

If you can’t select a wonderful delectable convection here then it has not been invented. There are the usual standards and they bake gigantic cookies of every description. There was a ‘mountain’ eclair the size of a cat head.

Well-Bred is one of our local favorites and we almost always visit when in the Asheville area. On this visit, three of us ate a "light" lunch (almost impossible with Well-Bred's offerings), and took desert with us. We had sandwiches and a quiche, which were...all excellent.More

My husband surprised me with a trip to Asheville for the breweries. One bartender recommended Zebulon in Weaverville. Just around the corner is Well-Bred, a bakery and cafe. We needed lunch before going back to Asheville so we stopped in for a cookie and saw...their sandwiches. We shared the classic chicken salad and Italian ciabatta. So good. And the cookies are amazing! Definitely recommend!!!More
