I've eaten at Stoney Knob Cafe three times now; First time by choice, second and third times because I was out-numbered. I will drive by this place to get to a whole host of better restaurants. It's kind of neat, and quirky, but I really felt ripped off the last time I went. $19 for shrimp and grits? Seriously? That's... More

Personally I preferred the Twisted Laurel over the Stoney Knob but I hear that it is common to like one over the other. Just felt I got more food cheaper at the Twisted Laurel.

this is the coolest place -- from the building itself to the funky decor. it's part diner, part art gallery and part 60's retro. we loved it! the difficulty is trying to figure out which of the amazing looking menu items to order. i had the short rib steakburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickles, onion rings, bacon and 2 kinds... Went with sister and mom to a late Sunday brunch. This was a wonderful brunch experience, enhanced by the best Bloody Mary I've ever had in my life! Cucumber and lime infused vodka gave a hint of different....and I know this Bloody Mary will reach epic proportions in my memory. Sister J agreed (I let her taste, and then we... More

Nice interior, great service and very good food. A good place to take your girlfriend. I would recommend lunch here as the dinner prices are a bit high.

Perfect spot for a quick healthy lunch and a couple of local beers! Always pleasant and relaxing! Love the quirky art and the virgin Mary with no hands!

So glad we chose this place for dinner. When we arrived we were ask if we a reservation. When we responded that we didn't the hostess appeared annoyed. We only waited about 30 mins or less for a table. The decor is beautifully unquie. After reading a review about the duck spring rolls we had to try them, they were... More

A neat place with a mix of styles. Entry area is very diner-like and other eating areas are eclectic and airy. They were doing a busy Sunday brunch service, but the wait wasn't too long and service was great. I had the chicken and waffles, which also came with 2 eggs, bacon and gravy! Delicious! Lots of yummy choices on... More

Everything was delicious. We had capricio and the duck spring rolls and watermelon ensalata. The scallops and pork belly with ligonberries were sumptious My husband said the short ribs were "to die for". He doesn't care for grits but loved these. The tuna had a magnificent presentation and was excellent. And the pasta was also delicious I loved the basil... More
