My husband and I were driving around the Blue Ridge Parkway and saw a sign pointing to Weaverville so we decided to pay a visit. We found several restaurants that sounded interesting but decided to try Maggie B's and we were not disappointed. I had the most delicious turkey with Granny Smith apple slices, brie, and cranberry mayo and my... More

Free wine tastings on Friday afternoons that are fun and often crowded. Maggie B's is pretty and cute. Gift selections seem overpriced; wines are reasonable, esp. for a specialty shop; great cheeses. We ordered a reuben panini that was delicious but seemed small for the price and the service was very slow!

People from Asheville, Marshall, Mars HIll AND Weaverville mingle and learn about some special wines during Friday night wine and beer tastings. Signing up for emails from the website keeps you informed of what is featured that week. A menu showing sandwiches, salads and soups is on the website, too. Wonderful food. No snobs here; the staff will help you... More

I love this little wine shop. I stopped in here the day before Thanksgiving at 5pm for wine. The lady (who I believe is the owner) was so helpful, and all of her suggestions were delicious. I didn't realize that they also served food. We stopped in again the day of the Christmas parade downtown and had sandwiches. I had... More

I was in a rush to meet some friends for a wine and cheese picnic, so I stopped in Maggie B's. The woman at the counter(sorry, I did not get her name) quickly put together a wonder picnic basket of the most delectable treats and savory bite and I was on my way in no time.

Great welcome from a knowledgeable staff. Interesting selection of wine and a few beers. They try to support the local wineries and brewers. Fun shop to visit.

We love the neighborhood feel, but with great wines, and nice gatherings of friends every Friday! There are always lots of interesting wines, beers and food; and interesting people to enjoy them with us!

The owner was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her wine offerings which represented small family vineyards. The shop also provided a wide array of food to complement your vino choices. I'd definitely recommend Maggie's as a relaxing rest spot, or a good stop to include when loading your picnic basket.

I have been a faithful customer here for years, not just for the wine, but also the food. The owner just expanded her menu to include paninis, salad and soups. This is a great place to just chill, have a glass/bottle of wine, and eat a casual meal. Love it!
