Drove up for a drink and the views (and to take photos of groups on the deck!) 2 beers and a half bottle of wine was $40 and change..seemed a bit excessive, especially since we were given Styrofoam coffee cups for the wine. Disgraceful...you can...do better!More

Since this restaurant is toward the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway we were hoping to see the sunset. What we read about the restaurant said the sunset was beautiful, but it was on the side of the restaurant where there is a wall. That...was a little disappointing. The food was fine - crab cakes were awesome! Not a lot of options for sides and only beer and wine - not a full bar. We did wait for a bit before our waitress got to us but other than that the service was fine! Semi casual dress is appropriate.More

We had dinner here 2 nights and breakfast 2 mornings while staying at The Pisgah Inn. Our service and our meals were fabulous each time! Servers made us feel welcomed and were very attentive (shout out to Misti, Morgan, & Jessica….awesome servers….and to Daniel for...doing a great job keeping our water glasses filled and clearing our table when we finished our meals). Our first dinner, we had the fried chicken and the baked chicken pot pie. Both were delicious, and meals were served hot and fresh in no time at all. Our second dinner, we had the ribeye steak and the bbq ribs and again, both meals were served promptly and were delicious! For breakfast, we had bacon and cheese omelettes with home fries and their amazing biscuits. We were fortunate enough to be seated right by the window for 3 out of 4 meals to take in the incredible views while enjoying our meals. I would absolutely choose to eat here again while staying at the Inn or traveling on the BRP (reservations should be made in advance).More

Most/all people eating in the Mt Pisgah Inn restaurant are guests at the adjacent inn, so there aren’t many reservations available for walk-ins. We came to climb Mt Pisgah, but noticing how beautiful the views were from the dining room, tried to make a reservation....We were told the only slot available was at 8pm, which we thought too late for our return to Asheville. Though disappointed about dinner, the staff at the counter could not have been more friendly and gave a lot of useful information for our climb, including a trail map. In brief, it took us a lot longer to complete the RT to the summit, and upon returning exhausted at 8:30pm, thought to eat in the dining room but found a sign indicating the dining room closed. However, again the helpful staff conferred briefly, and then welcomed us to dine, keeping the kitchen open. Our grilled scallops and grilled salmon were done to perfection, as were the side vegetables.More

We’ve been to Pisgah Inn many times in the past and it has a few years since we’ve been there. In the past it’s always been first come first served, and we’ve waited over an hour to be seated. We wanted to celebrate our Anniversary...there. I went online to look at their menu and saw that reservations were required. I can understand that as it is a very popular place up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Knowing that it’s a tourist attraction, we expected the prices to be higher as it’s out in the middle of nowhere. Made our reservations the day before and drove the 2 hours up there the next day. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly and our waitress introduced herself and provided us the specials of the day. We started with an appetizer which was served to us piping hot. Our entrees came shortly after. I had their Pisgah Chicken Pot Pie with a side of mixed veggies. My husband had the BBQ Pork Platter with Corn Fritters, fries and Cole Slaw. Everything was very flavorful, filling, and delicious. My husband ordered dessert afterwards which was hot cobbler with ice cream. We were very pleased with our experience and our meal was appropriately priced for all the food we ordered. We would definitely go back.More

Very expensive and unimpressive. the BBQ was tough and the pulled BBQ chicken was bland. We do not recommend. Go for view and eat somewhere else.

We grabbed a couple of sandwiches and when I saw how much my friends were paying, I thought they were also paying for ours. Ridiculous price for sandwiches prewrapped and a $3.50 Mt Dew. The sandwiches tasted good at least. No decent place to sit...and eat them outside to enjoy the view.More

We stayed at the Inn for two nights so we frequented the restaurant for two dinners and two breakfasts. First evening I had the pork shank with Parmesan risotto. It was delicious. Tender and the flavor was amazing. My friend had the filet. It was...not cooked to the ordered medium rare but they took it back and fixed it up and it was fine. We both had the pumpkin soup. Really, really good. The breakfast was the normal stuff and and the biscuits were yummy. Service was friendly and very acceptable. And did I mention the fabulous views? Spectacular.More

The food is very good. I can recommend the crab cake appetizer. The NY strip steak is huge and very good. Just the gratin potatoes cold be better. Views from the restaurant are amazing. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our lunch was excellent. We were greeted personally…. it was my 60th birthday. Then we were seated at the window and had the best view. Then our food came and it was fantastic! Our server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

The view was spectacular, very clean restaurant but was not impressed by the food at all. Not sure if they changed hands or what but the quality of the food has went way down from when I ate there couple yrs ago..I was really looking...forward to having a great meal and it just was not. More in line with cheap diner food.. ordered fish n chips and received piece of fish no flavor laying over waffle fries..very blah..other ones in my party also noticed how food quality was not that good ...hope they can make some improvements because such a great spot. Our service person was very nice.More

I visited the restaurant with my four children and it was definitely an experience… The Pisgah Inn Restaurant, has breathtaking views in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While the food and service were great, the standout issue was the supervisor, Nancy H, whose unfortunate attitude affected...our experience negatively. The scenery is worth a visit, but improvements in customer interactions are needed to make it truly exceptional. I would recommend putting Nancy H in a position where she is in the back and does not interact with customers.More

Love the good, love the view! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have picked a better place. The Tecate Bowl was phenomenal and the pasta with shrimp was enjoyed . Cheesecake to share was the perfect ending to our meal.
