Have been here several times in the past and had good service. On this visit, the food was good but one i our party did not have a good experience. He asked about an entrée and the server gave him inaccurate information. When the food was brought and the error was pointed out, she became somewhat rude and was uncaring.... More

The restaurant is the only one along this area of the Blue Ridge Parkway so is a convenient stop when touring. The dining room is large with great views of the mountains. However, the room has tile floors and little to absorb sound so it is difficult to carry on a conversation across the table when the room is full.... More

We are so happy you had a great experience, thank you for the review. Ah yes, the view, one of my favorite landmarks that can be seen from our dining room is Looking Glass Rock. Looking Glass Rock is actually a Pluton Monolith which is an ancient lava bubble that formed and hardened without exploding. Rising 4000 feet from the... More

We live in the area, so lunch at the restaurant is a favorite, but never had dinner there until we stayed at the Inn. Very very nice. Service is always impeccable. Food is awesome, too. The trout is wonderful. They filet it right at the table for you. My favorite! Try the chicken pot pie for lunch!

Thank you for the kind review. We appreciate you coming up to dine with us. We are lucky to have such a great local supplier of mountain trout, our friends at Sorrell's Creek Trout Farm do a wonderful job of raising the trout in a pristine setting with ponds fed by crisp mountain spring water. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a must-see for anyone visiting Western North Carolina. And to make the trip even better, stop in for lunch or dinner at the Pisgah Inn restaurant. We were seriously impressed by the quality of the food, starting with incredibly fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. In fact, the whole trout was so good, it was probably... More

Stopped after riding motorcycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Got there at 2:00, told there was a 35 minute wait, but it was longer. No problem, though. Enjoyed the view and chatting with other guests who were waiting as well. Everyone enjoyed their selections...monte cristi sandwich, hamburger, chicken pot pie, grilled trout. It was very crowded and it took a... More

4-star food. Our service was a bit spotty, with a new waiter. But it's all about the setting. A pleasant wood-floor restaurant, but quite crowded with tables. The view out the window is amazing, and the whole point of coming here. They don't take reservations. They start serving dinner at 5pm. If possible, get here at 430 and get your... More

My husband and I dined here for breakfast, lunch and dinner while staying at the Pisgah Inn. We especially enjoyed the fresh mountain trout for dinner. It was delicious! Their salads were fresh with a wonderful blend of green leaf lettuce. No skimping on portions! The wait staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The service was very good. An... More
