To some people, coffee is just coffee – warm, dark liquid to start the day or for breaks from life’s trials… but to panacea coffee company and its loyal customers, the differences are obvious. Just as with any other agricultural product, the best flavors come only from the best production and preparation processes. Genuine “specialty-grade” coffees are the beans from each region given the highest quality scores – coffee with few defects and very distinctive character. At panacea, that’s all we use – 100% specialty-grade coffees. Coffee this good starts with careful attention to the crop – nourishing the soil, pruning, and picking by hand, not by machinery. Raw coffee beans are fermented to accentuate natural flavors and hand-raked to dry naturally in the sunshine. But the quality control doesn’t end there: the roaster must know enough about the flavor profile of each growing region to bring out the richest, most robust flavors during the roasting process. We invite you to try coffees from each region and each country until you narrow down your taste preferences. Our selections often change based on the best coffees available during the year, but know there will always be something to suit your palate.

I don’t give 5’s often because I don’t feel many go beyond average. Panacea strives to create a unique atmosphere incorporating the historic with new. I love the old train depot feel merged with local flair. The coffee is roasted in house and even sold...More

We stopped by for a late lunch, chose several items from the menu, 6 in all. 4 of the 6 were way too salty. The blackberry lemonade was very, very flavorful but too sweet. A little less of the flavoring syrup would make it more...More

Get there when they open (7am), otherwise, odds are they won't have what you want. Not only this, but the menu has been shortened and they've changed coffee beans to an inferior type.
