Very good spot in out of the way spot. Well worth the search. Stopped in for dinner and my wife ordered a smoked pasta special that was excellent. I ordered the pork chop which is a constant on their menu. Tonight the first attempt at grilling my chop was not up to par. As soon as waiter returned to check... More

My burger was a good $10 burger but that's about as far as it gets. The service was horrible. Although the table next to us was checked on and catered to 4x better by the same server, we were definitely judged and ignored. He ordered a ribeye which definitely was a sirloin steak- given we are from the Midwest and... More

We apologize whole heartedly for your bad experience. I can assure you that we do not have any sirloin in the restaurant. Chef Matt Kuver butchers each and every ribeye in house. This is how we provide both hand cut steaks; the heart of ribeye, and the cap of ribeye. I assume with your knowledge of beef that you are... More

Went there last night with 2 other couples. Service was excellent. I had the French onion soup to start and then the ribeye. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Great selection of beers. Just a great night out with friends!

BBB&A is just outside of town, but definitely worth the short drive. Food is awesome and the wine was great too! My husband had tres majores medallions infused with bourbon and they were fantastic. I had the bourbon barrel burger and it was the best burger I have ever eaten. Yumm!

Off the beaten trail and worth looking for. Family run, cozy restaurant great for gathering with friends. I had the yummy bacon cherry pork chop and it was delicious.

While the menu is heavy on the beef and burgers, which looked delicious as they were served to others, there are also some lighter selections. I enjoyed the perfectly cooked scallops that were the special that night. I also enjoyed the best creme brûlée I have ever had. Another diner asked if the dessert was worth the calories and I... Being part timers in the area for 10 years from Florida we have tried almost every restaurant with the exception of a few, Bourbon Barrel being one of them, although we had always wanted to get there. Finally the time arrived and there was NO disappointment. The menu had just changed slightly, and although somewhat limited, there was something for... More

Met some friends here for lunch. Everything was delicious - we all had soup and sandwiches with homemade potato chips. Friendly and responsive waitstaff, and a cozy atmosphere at a reasonable price.

Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, saw the town from the ridge and decided to stop for food and drink. stumbled upon this place and gave it a try. WOW Great food, wonderful people and a superb craft beer to top it all off. If I wasn't riding, you might of found me there still! I will go out of my... More
