superfluous bar food that was good. Service good. Not a date night joint. Small plates were good. Most great reviews are for Parmesan fries, they did not disappoint. Good selection of beers and wines.

Is it not interesting to go out to dine on a Saturday night on a weekend that is clearly not high season and find a restaurant reluctant to seat a party of 2 at 7:45. There were 5 open tables and the entire bar area in the restaurant was completely empty. See attached photos. The response from multiple staff members... More

Great beer selection and outdoor deck facing river. Recommend the coconut porter and hoppy IPA. Will return next time we pass through.

Second visit with another couple. Sweet Onion Bisque was the best ever. Also had Cajun sweet potato fries that were real spicy. My sandwich was a grilled pimento sandwich, not the best I've had but very good.

We sat at the bar area, due to the crowd and received excellent service. The food was fresh and tasty.

We could not get a reservation, however, the host suggested we sit and eat at the kitchen preparation bar. We loved watching the chefs while enjoying a fabulous dinner. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive, suggested several items on the menu. My husband had the fish of the day and I had the trout, both were excellent and the... More

We arrived with no reservations; the place was empty, and they had a problem finding us a table! The four of us noticed a "smoky" smell, but we decided to stay. Even though there was only one other table of diners in there, it still took our waiter longer than usual to come and get our drink order. Our waiter's... More

Loved the ambiance and the building at the Frog's Leap. The food was good, but several items were a bit too salty. We tried the crispy pig ears which were salty, and all you tasted was the outside crust. The fried green tomatoes, also salty, were good- especially with the pimento cheese. And the trout was delicious. On the plus... More

We stopped for lunch, and it was wonderful. The Devils on Horseback are a must have. The grilled pimento cheese with fried green tomatoes was sinful, and the homemade pastrami sandwich was out of this world. We can't wait to go back.
