5 of us went for lunch on a Saturday and were seated quickly. Our waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed even though the place wasn’t really busy and there was a lot of help in the dining room, most of whom were standing around talking...to each other. Some of the food was good some was ok. I love homemade corned beef hash and it might have been ok but it tasted like it was made a week ago and then put on the grill more than once and then burnt to a black mound. Disappointing to say the least. Stacks could be good but it needs more supervision to ensure better consistency.More

Huge servings and food consistently tastes great. Hubby always gets the Philly, I’m a sucker for the grits, eggs and pancakes. Excellent, fast service. Clean restaurant, socially distant seating. Super busy on Sundays- so go before the church crowd or order to-go.

We live in Waxhaw and always eat at Stacks and today me and my wife called in for take out at 9:22AM the order was taken and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes and left a 15% tip on pick up. I...arrived there and asked for my take out at 9:55AM. They told me it was almost ready and would be right out. 27 minutes I got our food. I was a little aggravated that I was told it was almost ready and it was not. During my time waiting for my late breakfast I observed that there really was no social distancing in the restaurant and notice nine people customers that came in the door wearing no mast. Two were waiting for food and were not wearing mast. Very scary during this pandemic. When we got our food we left a mile a way and the food was cold and the bacon was hardly cook. It is ashamed that Stacks is growing so fast that there service I see is now going down. There food over the years has been great but not sure I will return back because of this last service and it seemed nobody cared I was waiting so long. Regards A Dis-satisfied CustomerMore

Ordered an omelette. Vegetarian. Came with ham hidden inside. Kinda gross for those who don’t eat meat. Waitress said oh sometimes it happens. Didn’t offer to take off bill but no big deal. Thought I would mention to manager later and said wasn’t there which...was a total lie as we literally saw them there. Ok-last time I’ll bring my family there. I’m sure if people have allergies or dietary restrictions it is harder to accommodate but be careful and lose the uncaring attitudeMore

You need to get there early to avoid a wait for a table. They get very busy especially on Saturday morning. Food is good for a good price. I love their french toast and my family loves their omelettes and skillet breakfasts. Good place for...good food.More
