We wanted burgers so we drove over to Diary Queen. We were disappointed to see that they only serve their frozen desserts and hot dogs. Why are their SO many hot dog places out here?! We left, didn't eat here. So it may be just great, just...no burgers.

Banana split was awesome, hot fudge sundae, cone, shake.. A group of 6 went. Cashier was attentive, our ice cream was made in record time, no wait..he even substituted cherries for strawberries on 2 of our banana splits..and added more whipped cream on a shake. always nice and friendly place for ice cream in Rodanthe

THE WORST DQ EVER. Visited the OBX the week before Labor Day (August 27, 2016). Stopped in at about 8:30pm with another adult and 3 kids. They were not busy. Walked up to the window and the individual working the window was visibly bothered by our presence. He then proceeded to mumble his way through a greeting, so much so,... More

No lines early in the afternoon. Plenty of workers working at the time and they messed up the order. They missed items. They asked if we wanted condiments for our hot dogs but never gave them to us. Hope they do better at night when lines are longer

This small DQ was built a few years ago by the guy who owns the DQ in Avon. Who doesn't want some ice cream when it's hot at the beach. It can be very crowded at night. No inside dining, just walk up window and drive through. This saves the drive to Avon for those in Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo.... More

This was a nice treat after being out in the sun all day. We visited this on a camping trip to Camp Hatteras and decided to stop here after a jog. It was the same as most Dairy Queens. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt and efficient.

One of the campers at Saint Clair's landing treated our kids to ice cream. The kids were so excited.

We drove by and saw the line on the first evening and opted for a local ice cream stop. On the second evening, I drove around back to park and found a long line of 20 patrons waiting to be served, but the drive-thru was open and vacant. I was waited on as soon as I drove up to the... More

Went through drive thru instead of waiting in long lines in the heat. Typical DQ fare. Light menu. Will visit again.

Blizzards were good but some were not what we ordered. They didn't have some of the flavors offered. I guess it's a normal place
