this bar/restaurant is the best. Where else can you go on a Sunday to watch any game of football you want. It was fantastic and the beer specials and choices are great.

First time visit here for lunch...BBQ Sandwich/fries for me and chicken salad for wife. Food was very good...service from either a new or non caring server was so-so.

We met friends for dinner as they had eaten here before and told us how good it was. Well they were correct. Everything was great. My wife had a margarita and the fish and chips. I had the shrimp taco. All was very good. We even split a baked cobbler for desert. We will definitely return again and again.

Always great place for large groups after the game or during the game. Food can be pricey depending on what you get, but it is always good and always fresh. Occasionally for large groups service can be somewhat slow, but typical of this kind of restaurant. They have favorites like the Dipper and the wings that are always delicious and... More

Hard to mess up a Caesar salad, but they did. Lettuce core mixed in, leafs were wilted somewhat. Chicken blackened on outside and pink in middle. Nachos were specifically ordered with melted shredded cheese, instead it was presented with cheese poured on it, and there was only one little shred of chicken in the large size. Would not recommend this... More

Just landed at RDU and needed some food after getting to my cousins. Greeted at the door by a very friendly host. Got seated in the bar area at a high top. Restaurant was clean, lot of tvs and wasn't loud. Our server was Corey. Told us the daily specials and offered us "a nice cold beer on this hot... More

Enjoying lunch at the Wake Forest location of Carolina Ale House is pretty much always going to be a pleasure, but my recent business lunch there reminded me of how much great service can make a good meal a great experience. Our server, Heather, was exceptional. Efficient, personable and funny, she made the experience positive all around. Oh yes... the... More

It seems as if the Carolina Ale House in general has been on a steady decline over the years. I recall more patrons, better menu options, and pricing, although prices are in synch with their competition. I use to really enjoy going to Ale House but nowadays I rarely go and did so this last time only because others in... More
