The inside is a blank slate, looks like it was an empty store front they just occupied. Interesting green houses outside that they look to be preparing for dining. Food was Ok, balsamic was way overpowering on my sandwich but broccoli salad and soup were...fine. Pork sliders were good. Waitress visited a bit too frequently and stood a bit too close if you’re concerned about social distancing. Not sure I need to visit again.More

Venturing out after many local take-outs since March, we were not disappointed. Initially focused on Covid related compliance / recommendations, we were put at ease with the table layout and staff masking. Both items ordered, Shrimp & Grits and Lobster - Mac & Cheese were...excellent. Service was exceptional based on all considerations being dealt with. Will return soon.........More

We had a very nice and enjoyable lunch experience today at Huckleberry's. We walked up just as the live music via Rockin Randall, was starting up on the patio. We grabbed a seat and ordered lunch which was good, while enjoying the sunshine and music....Service was good, food was good, the music good....win, win, win. All in all we had a great experience.More

Visited Huckleberry’s on Friday October 2, 2020 7pm. Had heard Rockin’ Randell was in town performing and it was a beautiful Fall evening. I had heard this place was very nice and food was good so I thought I would make the 30 minute drive...from Forest City, NC to try it out. Got there about 7:20pm with my party of 4. Very crowded which was a good sign. Stood in a line to put my name down for a place to be seated. After an hour of standing there with no effort by anyone on the staff to welcome me, I asked a staff member if I needed to put my name down, keep standing here , basically what is the guest protocol here? I noticed about 4 tables that were available and empty. The young lady replied to my inquiry with, “we’re working in the weeds”, “our best waitress is not here tonight and thus we are challenged”. No welcome, no let me help you , no nothing simply acted like I was a nuisance. I witnessed a twosome and another twosome be seated at a 5 top when smaller tables were available. Where’s management? This is just poor management. No one working there seemed to care about my party and others standing in line with stupid looks on our face. After an hour fifteen we left, went to Side Street Pizza which was rocking with people. Had a drink in my hand in 3 minutes, a table in 5 minutes and the best pizza in Eastern US! Side Street knows how to ⚡️TCB⚡️. Huckleberry’s was run by rookies who couldn’t even get off starting gate. Sad.More

My husband and I picked up 2 Buttermilk Fried Chicken clubs for lunch.yesterday. The chicken was done just right. The applewood smoked bacon was crisp just like we like it. The portions were very generous, and the aioli sauce was wonderful. What a pleasure to...have a local restaurant of this quality. I know the chefs and owner are Johnson & Whales trained and it really shows. Thank you for your hard work. We love your food!More

What a wonderful surprise. Very clean and everyone was marking masks. The decor was eclectic and very well done. But the food was exceptional. In particular, teh charcuterie . Neither of us had every seen an array of meats, cheeses and various veggies. It was...quite enormous.. So much so that we told the waitress to not put two orders of shrimp and grits in .......... only one, split would be fine. Lisa took care of us and did a wonderful job (she should get a raise) ! BTW - although not a large wine selection, they do have some quite good wines including "J" vineyards.More
