Friday evening dinner with the family. We were able to sit on the deck and that helped entertain the younger members of our party. They were especially courteous with bringing the kids meals first. On a side note - we loved and bought some of...their homemade salt hand scrub!More

I was worried about getting to the second floor where the main restaurant is, but they had an elevator! Yeah! The people were nice, the place was clean, and the food was really good. They do ot take reservations, most places at the beach do...not, so get there early if you want a place to park, and don't want to stand in line. The road into the place really needs to be one way.More

Arrived at 3:45 for an early dinner with a party of 6. Was told there was a 45 minute wait. Waited outside the door on a bench. An hour after waiting my husband walked inside to check on status. Was told we had been called...3 times and our table had been given to someone else. When we tried to show we had no missed calls, the Hostess said that happens...”it rings on our end but no connection”. Nobody came outside and called our name. No attempt to make it right! Finally agreed to add us to the list. We should have left but figured by that time there would be wait times at other places. Finally got seated. After 10 minutes a waitress with an attitude came to get our drink orders and was annoyed we didn’t order alcohol; she actually rolled her eyes when we confirmed nothing from the bar! We ordered crab dip. The dip was delivered after we were half way thru our entrees! Food was better than the service but not worth the price! Waitress was terrible! Table behind us was even talking about the poor service!More

We ate here about a year ago and it was delightful. Driving home from a trip to Northeast NC we waited to have lunch here again. We were not disappointed. The service from entering to leaving was wonderful. Our server was the same as last...year. Really friendly, quick, efficient, and she knows the menu. I had tacos with grilled shrimp, they were amazing, hubby had the whiskey burger and it looked wonderful. We’ll be going back soon to kayak and will be sure to eat here again.More

My mom and I stopped here on a Tuesday night. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing! The bathroom even had a salt scrub to use, it was nice.

Enjoyable casual lunch on the 2nd floor deck. Taco Tuesday special was a great bargain at only $10. The oyster poor-boy was huge and tasty. Fries were hot and well spiced. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

A beautiful spot on the water, but a disappointing meal. 3 of our party of 4 had the chicken pot pie dish. A great idea, but the meals were salted so much that our mouths burned from the salt. We told the waitress and she...said of yes, we had a complaint yesterday about too much salt and says she told the chef. I have never had food so over salted. Not much of an apology and no offer to reduce the price or comp a dessert etc. The she crab soup was good, but was a very small amount for the money. Not any desire to return any time soon.More

Food is usually pretty good here and the setting is lovely. HOWEVER, since the pandemic began March 2020, our family has only gotten takeout from our local restaurants. Last week we ordered from Saltwater and it was really not good. Apparently, they have a new...menu so we could not order the food that was posted on the internet and the waitress could not tell us where to look online for a current menu. She asked the kitchen and they still had the ingredients on hand for lobster ravioli, so we were allowed to order that dish. Should have realized that might be a mistake to order. We also ordered a seafood combo and seafood mac and cheese. Were not told that there was new seafood mac and cheese which strongly resembled spaghetti with alfredo sauce and a tiny pile of shrimp and scallops on top. The combo was plated as two separate meals and bagged without the seafood mac and cheese so when we picked up, there were 3 meals but it was not the three we ordered. Had to go back to the restaurant to pick up another container of food (now cold). Truly, the experience was a mess - which is not what you expect for the large bill that we paid. Hopefully it was a bad night and we will still go back - but what a disappointment.More

We make the trip to Swansboro just to go to Saltwater. Angels on Horseback, Lobster Ravioli, crab dip and mules are out go-to dinners. We always wait for a table on the deck - it's worth it. Great for date night! The service is always...excellent as well.More

I don't think they have a Happy hour, but they do have specials on drinks that changes daily.
