The ONLY problem with this place is parking. The staff is friendly and always hustling to satisfy. The Tomatoe Pies are out of this world. Don't visit the Emerald Isle without eating here.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday, July 3rd before heading off to a concert. We arrived at 5pm with only two other tables occupied. Since the concert was at 6:30 and just across the street we figured 5pm dinner would get us there in plenty of time. We were wrong. Both of us ordered... More

A pharmacist in the Swansboro area recommended this restaurant. When we arrived there was no one in the small restaurant. The waitress came to our table (Note: we had 3 adults for dinner) and she brought us only one menu. We asked for two other menus, as the menu was obviously long and she told us that she could only... We visit Trattoria every time we visit Swansboro or the Emerald Coast. We've seen other folks enjoy other Italian dishes but we always go for a pizza. Service has been friendly and prompt. It takes a while to make the pizza but to us, it is worth it. Just remember, you will likely be listening to Italian opera as you... More

Great little hole in the wall Italian restaurant. Owner is an apparent 1st generation immigrant from Italy. Huge quantity of food--share or expect leftovers. Both pasta and pizza quite good. Haven't tried calzones.

we arrived at 1100am when they opened. we were told the pizza oven wasn't ready, and pizza would take 20 minutes. we said we'd wait and ordered salads. after 40 minutes, the owner came out and said the oven wouldn't be ready for at least another 45 minutes. the most disappointing part was the bill for two side salads- 20... We eat there each time we visit the area. This time we had heroes (sub sandwiches) They were good but we pain almost 40$ for 2 sandwiches and 2 ice teas. I didn't think they were that good! The service was fair with quite a delay in refilling our glasses. The other menu items like past dinners were also quite... More

Pizza is excellent. Salad fresh. Homemade rolls are a nice touch. Service is uneven & can be affected by minor events like a party of 5 getting separate checks & paying separately. They seemed a little short staffed.

I was making a quick day trip to Swansboro with a friend, as she was visiting a specialty shop there. We arrived in mid afternoon, famished, as she suggested Trattoria. She said it was a place her family almost always visited. I was surprised at its location, as I had been there several times walking at the adjacent park. This... More

I had a grilled chicken Cesar salad, my son had a meatball, my friend had a reg Cesar and ordered the bruschetta. Oh my goodness it was all SO good! I cook and bake a lot myself for my family of 6. I didn't ask but it would shock me of the bread wasn't made from scratch. The sub roll... More
