It has been a long, cold winter and a sure sign of better weather to come is the opening of Twin Lakes. We have been dining here for years as tourists and now locals and have come to expect consistently good seafood and excellent service. We enjoyed our meal but it was a bit below what we have come to... More

My husband and I have been going to Sunset Beach for 30 years and don't consider a complete trip unless we have at least one meal or more at Twin Lakes. Service is always great and the food fresh and cooked just like you like it. The hushpuppies with honey butter can't be beat. Can't wait until our next visit!

I've eaten at Twin Lakes while visiting in the area for several years. That I keep going back year after year says a lot about the place. Service is always good too.

My wife and I ate at Twin Lakes Seafood last weekend and experienced another great meal. She had the broiled fresh flounder and I had the broiled shrimp and oyster plate, though we shared both. Excellent food and service on the second floor balcony with the beautiful view.

Stayed @ Sunset Inn and they recommended Twin Lakes for dinner. Well worth the money. You get to eat overlooking the Marsh Inlet Waterway and they give you complimentary hush puppies....delicious. Had bone-in flounder, very moist and husband had the fried clams! Both were great choices.

Great view, good service, and fresh seafood. Crab legs were terrific, flounder was yummy, and the onion rings delicious.

My wife and I just drove in from E. Tennessee to start a week-long vacation. Both tired and hungry (6 hour drive and nothing but a gas station hotdog and potato chips), I fired up Trip Advisor and found the good review average for Twin Lakes. The hush puppies were to die for, and our main entrees (shrimp n grits... More

Live near Twin Lakes and go there every 2-3 months. Very dependable, good service at table and at the bar. Reasonable price, not huge servings but you won't go away hungry. Try the blackened whole flounder. Extensive menu and most not fried. Best seafood in area.

We enjoyed our meal. Our server, Misty, could not have been any nicer! We are planning on going there one more time before we leave Ocean Isle Beach.

Of all the seafood restaurants we have tried in our almost 30 years of visiting this area, we always end up back here. The choices are numerous (not everything is fried), there is a good selection of wines and beer and they offer petite plates which satisfy without stuffing. Favorites are: shrimp and grits, blackened flounder and shrimp and crab... More
