Coastal Grounds coffee and smoothie bar is located on Sunset Beach Island in Sunset Beach, NC. Serving gourmet coffee, fresh fruit smoothies, and fresh made pastries. A relaxing Java Lounge with wifi is also available. We also utilize this location as a point of pick up and ordering for Julies Rentals (bikes, kayaks, beach equipment, etc.)

Great coffee & tea! Love that we can stop in on our bike rides around Sunset Beach Island to stop in for coffee, tea, milkshakes & ice cream. Convenient and friendly service. Highly recommend this place if you are in Sunset Beach!

The coffee here is excellent! The owner was working the day we stopped in and he was great. He was very welcoming and amazing with his customers. I had hot coffee and my wife had iced coffee and they both were outstanding. We are still talking about how good it was. They also have ice cream.

Got our morning coffee here every morning. Girl at the counter was sweet and made fresh grounds! My dad talked her ear off and she was polite and chatted right back with him.

Visited the shop because of the high ratings, but did not think it was exceptional for coffee. We got simple brewed coffee, which was good, but not great. No fresh baked goods to help the coffee go down, either. They do have ice cream, if that’s what you want, but it wasn’t what we wanted. Also, they are not selling bags of coffee now.

Our coffee is freshly ground and brewed everyday, I’m sorry it wasn’t up to your objective high standards Tim. No we don’t sell baked goods in the off season because they would all go bad due to how slow it is and I won’t sell old pastries. Thanks for lowering the rating of a small business, have a great day.

This new little coffee shop was one of the best cups of coffee that we've had on almost any vacation!

My wife and I stopped in here one morning when in Sunset Beach on vacation and we had the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time.
