Talk about an aptly named eatery! Mountain views are indeed what you'll get in this cozy spot. Eating on the restaurant's deck is not for those who fear heights. But the view is just as good from the sunroom and you'll feel much safer. I...More

We enjoyed our lunch on the deck overlooking the mountains. I had the Reuben sandwich while my husband chose the turkey panini and we split. Very good! This is a nice place to come with the views so be sure to sit outside if the...More

Fine dining experience while enjoying panoramic view of the 'smoky' mountains. The food was just as fantastic as the view. We recommend the Angry Shrimp and the Flat Iron steak. Cooked perfectly and presented well.

We stopped here during a motorcycle trip to along the blue ridge parkway. I had wings which were very tasty and my buddy had the Reuben which he enjoyed. The staff seemed pleasant enough and the time spent relaxing on the patio was excellent.

I love a business that has a mascot. Captain is a cool orange marmalade who has excellent public relations skills. He doesn't beg or jump into laps, but is willing to let polite patrons scratch behind his ears. The food is great, the view is...More

Ordered the "Grilled Ribeye Steak"... It wasn't grilled, it was Waffle House griddled. A 28 day aged steak, thrown on a griddle, who does that... Mountain View Restaurant. Also the steak had excessive gristle. If you're charging $24 for a Ribeye, you best bring your...More

This small restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. The food was good but the view was fabulous! The wait staff was very attentive and friendly.
