I liked the Old English and the Pilsner. I really liked both sandwiches but they need to change their buns. There is so much meat piled in the smallish bun it is hard to get your mouth around it.

This a very fun place for folks of all ages. I'm 57 so the wait staff looks young and energetic. The pizza is tasty. Friends from the next county like to meet for craft beer. Spruce Pine feels like Mayberry. This place has an Asheville atmosphere. It also attracts an older, intellectual bunch. I've seen educators, administrators and health care... More

we eat at this place at least once a month. The wait staff is wonderful and always takes good care of us. We like the food and a few of the beers we will drink but wish they would include a few domestic beers for customers to pick from.

Chad, the owner of The Pizza Shop/Dry County Brewing, makes all his beer and all his food with fresh ingredients. I'm not a beer aficionado, but I do like to eat. His pizzas are delicious, but my favorites are the sandwiches. He makes his own sourdough rolls, and they are so filled with ingredients that it's hard to get your... More

We decided to try DCBC while staying in Spruce Pine, because it had a good TripAdvisor rating. Unfortunately, they ran out of the porter we really wanted. I had wine instead. But they are definitely trying to get the brew side going. i gotta tell you, the Caesar salad was really good! I liked the fresh Romaine and flavorful dressing.... More

My husband and I stopped here after hiking in the area. What a delicious decision! Loved the beer and the sandwiches we had. Highly recommend!

This place would be easy for you to pass right by. From the street, it really doesn't look like much -- I think it may have once been a convenience store. But go in anyway, because it's as good a pizza experience as you could possibly expect Anywhere, USA (outside of New York/Long Island, of course). Beer selection is very... More

I love the pizza at Dry County Brewing, and their beer is not bad either. I would suggest calling the restaurant before going. I have been there two or three times only to find that they are not open.

everything in town was closed except this place--it doesn't look like much and there is no ambiance--just an exposed kitchen, tables and chairs on tile floor...noisy and crowded BUT the food and wine and beer were really tasty, with generous servings... our waitress brought samples of their beers so we could choose the best really glad we ended up there!

Only in Spruce Pine for one day and our first choice for lunch was not opening until dinner. We opted for this local eatery and had a nice lunch with good beer. There were a couple of larger groups eating the same time we were but it did not affect our service or wait time for our order.
