Whatever the special is....then get that! The soft she'll crab sandwich is fresh and delicious. Anything on the Asian menu side is authentic. Order the IPA on tap.

I live in the Southport area and this is one of my most favorite places to eat. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. I usually order from the specials board and if there is a Thai Red Curry dish on the board then I will get it. My favorite has been Thai Red Curry with Mahi... More

Shrimp tacos were excellent. Restaurant is very small so not the place for a large group. Servers were attentive and pleasant. Very reasonably priced

Every time I go to Loco Jo's it's better than the last, I love the friendly staff and always feel like family, this is a small restaurant so you're not always assured a seat, however service at the bar is just as good as at the table ! The specials are amazing so be sure to ask !!

This is truly a vacation kind of place. They have 5 small tables and a bar that can seat maybe 10 people along with a couple of tables outside. A very extensive beer menu and good food (their fish tacos are to die for) make this a place to stop for a casual meal. We live in the area so... More

Loco Jos is a popular local restaurant. Just off the waterfront so not as busy as some of the "trendy" restaurants. We had a bit of a wait but the waitress was friendly and kept us informed on our table. The menu is an interesting mix of southern cali food like fish or shrimp tacos mixed with some Vietnamese staples.... More

Because Loco Jo's isn't on the water where all the tourists are and is open year around, it's a favorite with Southport locals. And the food...excellent spring rolls, best pulled pork sandwich in Brunswick County, spicy Cabo Shrimp, fried green beans, and unusual daily specials. Great selection of beers and wine - no liquor. Service is usually good, though it's... More

You can usually find myself and my husband here at least every Tuesday wing night chowing down on some chicken wings and having a cold beer! The food is always amazing and the beer cold. The staff is always friendly and attentive. One of our favorites! We enjoy sitting outside. This is definitely a spot we try and bring all... More
