We saw promising reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to try it out. Lunch on a Saturday during the off-season means mostly locals. It is a rather small place, about 20 ft wide and 30 ft deep. A long "L" bar on the right with almost seating as the few tables. The serve only beer and wine and the place was... More

A local recommended this place, so we thought we would give it a try. It is a small bar, but they have an interesting variety of food on the menu. The service we received was fine, and the food was good (not great). We were told to pay at the bar even though they were not busy. I wish I... More

The place is tiny and can get crowded but the food and service is worth it! They have a great menu selection with daily specials and good prices. The best thing about this place though is the staff. They are awesome! Super friendly and very attentive. If you are in Southport I highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner.

My partner ordered shrimp quesadilla - it was overly salted with few shrimp. My teriyaki chicken wings were strange...lthey look meaty but were inedible - looked and tasted like they had been boiled, then slathered in a watery brown, sugary sweet sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds...Inedible! Friendly wait staff, usu parking can be found in lot or nearby strret.

This is a wine and beer restaurant with great chalkboard specials. Kobe sliders, Egg Rolls and Filet Mignon French Dip are some favorites that keep us coming back for more. It's very busy in the Summer because it's Friendly with great food. Worth the wait. A few tables out front for those who want to enjoy the night air.

Our family group went to Loco Jo's upon recommendation by a resident of Southport, and enjoyed the great food, Excellent service and prices. Recommend Quesadilas for vegetarian, fried beans, fish tacos, fried fish sampler. Great choice of western NC beers. Recommend Highland or Oskar Blues beer.

Super fun with fantastic food! We had a table of 6 and every meal that came out was just .... YUMMY! The staff were very friendly with a great sense of humor! It was great to get to the coast and have some real seafood - Asian inspired and very fresh and tasty.

This is one of our go to lunch spots when we visit our best friends in Holden Beach and Loco Jo's never disappoints. The ladies love the fish tacos which are usually tuna or Mahi Mahi grilled or blackened with chips & salsa. My friend swears by the Kobe sliders with fries and I love the excellent Cuban sandwich w/... More

This place is a must if you're in Southport. The fried rice and egg rolls are off the charts, as is the calamari. There is a great selection of seafood dishes and burgers...but the best part of the menu is the authentic Vietnamese fare from Mrs. Y's restaurant back in the 80s and 90s. The egg rolls are like none... More
