breakfast was excellent, not an over abundance of food, which was good. Cute, warm atmosphere with many locals.

A quaint little restaurant with down home cooking. I had a marvelous BLT with country bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato. They offer daily dishes with a nice selection of vegetables. I will definitely be back. Great service as well!

We had breakfast here on our way to southport Ferry. Breakfast is served until 1030.. Luckily we got there at 1020. Everything is purple and green (even pancakes:-) Basic tasty breakfast fare. We had eggs, omelette, home fries, biscuits, and sweet potato pancakes. Everything was good! Family friendly as well! Only negative for me was seeing staff on their smoke breaks... More

My husband and I ate breakfast here one day during our stay. We had a basic breakfast of eggs, homefries, toast and French toast. The eggs were good, the homefries were delicious with onions and seasonings, and the toast was good and nicely buttered. We were not big fans of the French toast which had an odd tangy taste to... It has bright colors to cover up the dirt. The wait staff has no clue what is on the menu and the food is absolutely greasy spoon disgusting. It appears that they threw this place together from a yard sale and they hired the cooks out of Craigslist or some other lowly place to find people that don't know how... More

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Taylor's never disappoint. Good fried chicken salad. Homemade cornbread crutons. Worth stopping back to eat.

This is a charming local restaurant but I found the breakfast with the exception of the potatoes....bland. We had biscuits and gravy, french toast, blueberry pancakes, eggs, etc. I can't stand it when restaurants water down the maple syrup into something that resembles neither artificial nor real. Or their supplier is cheating them. THAT my friends, was NOT real maple... More

We stayed the night in Southport before sailing over to BHI and had the pleasure of eating dinner here on a recommendation. Food was delicious. Our waitress convinced us to try the chocolate bread pudding they had that night. She said it was a local favorite that sells out quickly. It was so good that I came back after our... More

We were looking for a place for brunch after early church service and stumbled across Taylor's. It was ideal. We sat outside and other than the inconvenience of a few flies, it was great. All of the food was good (seafood omelet, eggs benedict, etc.) and nicely prepared. Service was friendly. We weren't rushed at all and spent a little... More

Went to Taylor's for a restful and enjoyable meal. The service was as always friendly and welcoming. Thought it was cute that the young lady waiting on guests moved the specials board from table to table so that patrons could read selections. My friends and I each ordered different meals from the steak to a vegetable plate. Each meal was... More
