Went with friends after our at least 10 years absence. It hasn't changed in ten years. Very dark, dark walls, dark tables that need to be refinished. I had to get the waitress to open my menu, pages were stuck together even though in plastic. To read it had to hold it directly under maybe 20 watt bulb on the... More

I had originally planned to go to Betsy's Crepes. I have some food allergies now, so I like to look at the menus and plan. Well, Betsy's had a full house and the wait was 30+ minutes. There wasn't a good waiting area, so figured best to try it another time and move forward. I have driven past Squires many... More

Squire's Pub was the perfect place to go after 36 holes of golf at Pinehurst. Laid back, almost boring, atmosphere. They have Bass Ale, so that is a plus. The London Broil was something to behold.

The place just looks the part on walk up. And the walk in finalizes the deal. You're in a British Pub! The menu has mouth-watering delectables, and I could have ordered anything ... or all of it. I was feeling fish, so I went Fish-and-Chips. Arguably the best I've ever had. The starter wings - absolutely the Best I have... More

We ate at this place of two nights during a golf trip to Pinehurst. The food was very good and the menu offered many British dishes which were quite authentic. Service was good. We would return here when in the area.

... who are locals. The pub atmosphere was expressed by the decor and color choices (dark and cozy). I thought I couldn't go wrong with a traditional pub meal (bangers and mash), but I found it a bit underwhelming. The server was awesome (made us feel like locals, too), but honestly, the food was bland and well, ... just not... More

In town for a soccer game and wanted something good to eat. We were not disappointed! Almost didn't find the place as the directions led us astray, but a bit down the road, I saw the sign. What a great English pub! We even had the most delightful English waitress. The menu is extensive, with steak, seafood, sandwiches, and more.... More

Things my wife and I look for in a new restaurant (new to us) is everything in the title of this review, atmosphere, food, staff, beer (or bourbon) and music. We just moved to the area and were looking for a place to eat and remember driving past Squire's Pub so thought we would give it a try. The staff... More

We love this place. We've seen the bad reviews. Yeah maybe it's not the gastro-pub up the street with a British theme, and fare, but this place has friendly, reliable service and great food. People that wrote those reviews can't spell properly. Can you trust them with a review? It's always consistent here from service to food. The food ranges... More

Haven't eaten here in a long time. We joined 3 other couples for an outing. I experimented and got the lamb burger which was topped with a special cheese, that, for my taste, was overpowering, but otherwise good. A couple got the beef salad which was large and the meat cooked perfectly. One got the award winning hamburger which was... More
