I had to meet here for business with a local person and so I was happy to check out a new place. The coffee was fine but the place was in great need of a cleaning. The other reviews are old enough that the dust...and dirty has been collecting since the last one maybe? Just an idea here but, along with a deep cleaning, take out all the plants and hose them down. Decide which ones are doing well. Keep all the others outside. Maybe cosider buying a few new ones and removing any furniture that is not sturdy, is stained and can't be cleaned or is not comfortable. This is not a hard thing to do. You could really have a nice local spot if you did just these few things.More

Had a chance to pop in and enjoy a signature coffee called Tanline recommended by owner Rose. It is a nice little place that just wraps you up in a warm fuzzy feel. The coffee was delicious and I enjoyed a short chat with Rose.

It's a small place, which gives it a cozy feel. There's some couches to sit on and hang out, with a few seats on their small porch as well. Frankie and his wife are super friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel a part...of the community. Of the coffee places in the area, this is the one I call our "Friendly neighborhood coffee shop". The coffee is good, and they know how to make other good coffee drinks of various kinds. They offer an almond milk option too, which surprised me. But now I see other places picking up on that as well. If your goal is good coffee and good company, you can't do much better in the area.More

I had Googled coffee places in Southern Pines and came up with the usual suspects (Starbucks, Dunkin', etc.). As I scrolled down, I came across this place and made a point to bookmark it for future reference. Yesterday, we stopped in on a whim and...were totally impressed with this place. What a cozy, great spot to hang out!! Frankie is gregarious, helpful, and eager to point you to what you are looking for in coffee. I asked for a cold pick-me-up and he hooked me up with a caffeine blast that was exactly what I was looking for. My wife enjoyed a sugar free coffee. We then spent about 30 min just hanging out in the back room, playing guitar and talking while our 4 year old enjoyed the large, plastic chess pieces. We were at perfect peace in this cozy nook. Serendipity! We definitely hope to return.More

Good mixes in here. Friendly talkers here. I like going in one of the back living rooms and relaxing with work or a book and a drink.

Friendly employees. Coffee is delicious. They have little rooms to chat or do some business work, bible study, or relax with friends. It's an old house converted into this coffee shop. So the bedrooms have either tables and chairs or a couch. Quaint and more...inviting than the ho-hum boring Starbucks. I believe in supporting the local businesses and this one you will enjoy. Their coffee options are as numerous as Starbucks also.More

Great place to hang out on the front porch. Great mixed coffee drinks. Also has snacks and sandwiches, but I go for my fix of raspberry mocha.
