Our hotel had the Market Place food truck out front. They were serving small sandwiches...like sliders. We sample each kind plus the Cole slaw and everything was very good. Can't wait to try their brick and mortar store.

My wife has been there probably 25 times, and loves it every time. She often goes with women friends, but I too join her about half the time. They have good gluten free offerings, including their delicious chocolate cake, which I can't miss! Even the rueben can be gluten free and is very tasty. The owner knows a great deal... More

Nice little place, off the beaten track. Owner is on premises and looks out for things to be done right. Daily specials, outdoor patio

This restaurant has moved and now located in the shopping center on the corner of Hwy 211 West & Mudocksville Rd in Pinehurst NC. I always order their roast beef & brie on croissant and their beer cheese soup. They have never disappointed me.

We love the Marketplace restaurant! The food is fresh, healthy and appealing. The owners have made it a cozy, friendly place to eat, whether it be a casual lunch or a business luncheon. You can eat in, take out or have it delivered (within a certain area). The soups and sandwiches are delicious and my all time favorite is their... More

I wish we had these in the north. Found everything I needed even nicely prepared dishes and foods, local wines, and some little things to take back home.

Excellent food, desserts, coffee, drinks and and it has a nice outside patio with shade for eating, lots to pick from the menu. I liked the homemade Brunswick stew. I think the ham sandwich with the butter pesto is special. Great deserts and excellent coffee. This is where you can get it all.

I've been going to The Marketplace for years. Whenever I have guests in town, a trip to The Marketplace is Always part of our schedule! The Roast Beef & Brie and Chicken Salad croissant sandwiches are like no other. Don't know what they do to make the croissant so flaky, but it's better than any bakery I've visited. The new... More

It is no longer in its cute and quaint location on Midland Road and is now in Pinehurst near Olmstead Plaza. It is now located near the Jos. A. Banks clothing store in the row of buildings behind the Lowes Grocery Store. You won't be disappointed by the food. My favorite is the Brunswick Stew, but it is only served... More
