We had the opportunity to dine at Chef Warren's while on a weekend getaway to Pinehurst. Decided that some time off property might be nice and we were so right! This is a wonderful place with attentive and engaged owner who truly care about what they are doing. Each course was wonderfully prepared. Kangaroo appetizer is something I can now... More

Few restaurants are capable of providing a consistently delectable array of nightly offerings! This is the "go to" place in North Carolina. The award winning Chef and his wife and staff, clearly take pride in every dish.

We didn't have a reservation, so the hostess could "only" seat us at the bar. Oh, darn! Best seat in the house, in our opinion. We love being able to watch the chefs work as they prepare all their easy dishes. We started with lamb meatballs in a delicious yogurt-y sauce. My fiancé has the trout and I got the... More

You will meet the charming Proprietor Marianne Lewis and her husband, Proprietor Chef Warren Lewis when you dine at their wonderful restaurant, Chef Warren's: A Southern Pines Bistro. My son, who lives in Southern Pines, chose Chef Warren’s for a special dinner while we were visiting. The waitress assigned to our table was inattentive, but Mrs. Lewis was warm and... More

Chef Warren's is a white table cloth with a neighborhood restaurant feel. Even on a first visit you feel welcome. The food was interesting without being over imagined. Staff was friendly and the owners mix and mingled with regulars and new comers alike. Try the wines that they are highlighting:they are not on the menu. The menu is small but... More

Chef Warren's was recommended by our caddie. After a week of eating at nice restaurants in the area, Chef Warren's stood out as by far the best. The service was excellent. I had the duck which was fantastic. It was great value for the money but you should go early as it fills up. Make a reservation if you can.... More

What a quant little restaurant. Friendly owners who interact with the customers. Actually talked and mingled with the guests. I loved their eclectic collection of gargoyles roosters and snow globes!!! You could see the cools cooking. The tables were quiet and the seating comfortable. The bathrooms clean and like ending at home. The food was like receiving a little piece... More

We've been to Southern Pines many times, but never to Chef Warren's. Our party of four tried a sampling of specials and tapas, and we enjoyed them all...Kangaroo and grits, lobster Rangoon, crab stew, the clams special, salad and filet mignon. Pricy, for sure, but the quality of the food made it worth it.

On golf and family trips over the last few years, I've eaten at most of the restaurants in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. Went to Chef Warrens for the first time tonight. It is my absolute favorite. The meatball appetizer was outstanding. The pork chop platter was ridiculous. ( don't let "pork chop" fool you, it's not your Mother's pork chop).... More

We had never been to Southern Pines before but on this visit to Pinehurst we decided to venture out. Was quite impressed with this small charming town and the restaurant choices. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The lobster Rangoon was good but nothing extraordinary. The drinks we good enough. Service was excellent. Entrees were good ( salmon and shrimps and... More
