Healthy veggie bowl with grains and sauce on the side meant a veggie friendly dream of flavor. To/go grilled cheese was cheerfully made without the (probably tasty) pimento in case the kid would balk. One outdoor table, wide open space inside. Prompt service with fabulous...southern charm. Adding this to the list of regular SP stops while visiting!More

What a treat! I met a friend for lunch. Charming interior. Handles a lot of diners. No one was in a rush to move our table. They let us order and stay at our own pace. I went with their quiche of the day. Great...crust. We both took fruit as our side. My friend really likes their curry, she had the pita wrap on the side, naan style.More

This lovely little cafe offers more than just the normal soup and sandwich options. The Arrepas were absolutely phenomenal, and I can't wait to try their delicious pastry dessert. It's small and cozy, and don't go if you are in a hurry, but take your...time to savor and enjoy.More

Met some dear friends who were staying near Pinehurst for breakfast. We were there on a weekday and it was not at all crowded, but that is not because of the food or the setting. The staff is very friendly and prompt and the restaurant...is nicely decorated. The menu is limited (not a Denny's), but the benefit is everything is prepared well. Portions are generous, food was delicious, coffee flowed freely -- it was a delightful experience all around. The restaurant is flanked by medical offices, but it is well-buffered and separated by pine trees, so it seems to be sitting all by itself among those trees -- which makes it easy to miss, so be on the lookout. You won't regret it.More

A small, charming, eclectic cafe serving fresh, healthy and creative selections. Food may take a little while to prepare, but worth the wait. Servers are very accommodating and friendly. If you save room for dessert, there are several, bakery quality, selections in the "goodies" case...from which to choose.More

Wow. I was just here in February and it was 5 stars. On this visit it was 2 stars at best. It took over an hour to get our food and it was not a full restaurant. I expected more out of Leslie and her...crew. It might have been that there were only two women working the room which slowed everything down. So I had the paddy melt expecting a big sandwich and it was a meager burger on toast with cheese melted on the bread not on the meat. Wow, was I dissatisfied! I had recommended this restaurant and brought in 16 customers. Bottom line was they failed to meet expectations. I am sorry to say that I won't be back for some time. It is too bad because my first visit was incredible. I recommend that you change your chef and improve your service. You can do better.More

Hello Mike - I'm sorry that you did not have a good experience at our café. From our perspective things played out a bit differently. Typically when one brings in a large group, we have more than 10 minutes warning and we provide a shortened...More
