Conveniently located in the heart of dowtown Southern Pines the newly renovated location spotlights quality and creativity with every detail. Warm colors, combined with hand crafted wood work and unique decor create a very comfortable, casual atmosphere to enjoy. Proprietor, Chef Pete Hamm delivers quality ingredients and flavors throughout a menu constructed of signature items, such as the delicious "lobsta fries", the ridicuously tasty Reubenesque sandwich and the very popular fish taco nachos. Open seven days a week for busy lifestyles to visit often.
Okay, don’t eat fried foods a lot so this was a special occasion & the raves about the lobsta fries are all around. So, order these with the lobsta sauce on the side (love crunchy fries, not soggy) with the fries almost burnt with no...More
We had an early Sunday lunch at Chapman's and the place was filled by the time we finished. Seemed like a local place.

A jolly bistro, nice atmosphere but you need to be careful about arrival time as you can't book and you can have a long wait. Better around 5.30 certainly before 6 if you stand a chance of going dierct to a table. As we are...More
This is my favorite N.Y. Strip stop, and we also love the Salmon. Very casual and rustic, and very busy. Service was excellent and although packed no long wait for drink service or food. Not fancy but a good dinner stop.

We have eaten here a couple of times in the last month and have found everything to be wonderful. My husband especially liked the ribs and the Reuben. I thought the fish tacos while they were very good were very messy and hard to eat...More
