Best healthy meal I had in the area. All others involved fried food ( by choice of course). Enjoyed veggie omlete, multi grain toast and fresh fruit. Family enjoyed varity biscuits and gravy, pancakes, breakfast burrito etc. Fresh bakery selection amazing too!

I had the greasy Rubin and wife had the greasy portobello with fried green tomatoes. Very tasty and way adequate for a late lunch. But...it came home to roost overnight. Not hurrying back!

While on vacation we stopped in for lunch and the order was wrong. The best they could offer is that my family eat and wait on me while I waited for my meal to be remade then wait on me to eat it. Very unapologetic.

Always a good lunch. Great bakery at the front counter. I generally only have a sandwich -- and have never been disappointed. Quite busy during lunch.

We met some friends at this cafe due to it’s location in Shallotte. The food was good, basic diner food. It’s a very busy place and while the server was pleasant, they probably needed one more wait staff to cover the number of people. Also,...More
