This is a simple home-cooking buffet with a small but well-prepared assortment, all for $8.95, extra for soda-pop. Fried chicken was delicious, other entrees and sides were also very good. A nice dessert assortment, including a homemade pie which I think is called Pink's Pie. Liked Robbins Nest so much on the way north that we stopped again on the... More

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch. The selections seemed average. Mashed potatoes weren't even real! Hard to tell how long some of the foods were setting out. Desert selection was rather dull... I've been to many better buffets!

While the food is good it sure would be nice to hear a "Thank You" when you pay the cashiers!!! These people have completely lost their appreciation for their customers! I would guess the new country cooking buffet in town will give them a run for their money.

This restaurant was a complete surprise! We met my brother there for a meal and a visit during lunch. I had never seen such an assortment of "country cooking"! Obviously, it was a favorite of the locals....a good indication of fine food. It is all buffet. You pay for your food and drink and eat salads, meats, vegetables and desserts... More

It has been some years since we tried Robbins Nest. We were pleased to see the dining room had been remolded some and frankly it was much cleaner. The food bar was clean and well presented. The table area clean too. The wait staff was prompt and kept our plates cleaned away and made sure we had all we needed... More

Waitresses used to be on the Ball getting to your table with Tea & Ice/Silverware. Now, you sit & wait sev minutes before even being noticed. They have no desire to promptly clean the tables anymore, etc. Mention you want Ice or Tea refills and they forget or are really slow in getting it to you~~I think working issues are on... More

Typical southern buffet where the dishes are authentic and tasty. My favorite was the fried chicken. So much so, I purchased one to go so I could share it with relatives I was on my way to visit near Richmond. $8.50 gets you a freshly sectioned fried chicken and another $2.50 provides a pound of mashed potatoes and gravy. I... More

The title says it all. The food was very good and I filled my stomach, but the selection of food was limited. Not sure I would return.
