Waitresses used to be on the Ball getting to your table with Tea & Ice/Silverware. Now, you sit & wait sev minutes before even being noticed. They have no desire to promptly clean the tables anymore, etc. Mention you want Ice or Tea refills and they forget or are really slow in getting it to you~~I think working issues are on... More

I am sorry to hear about this. It would help me tremendously if I knew the date and the time that you visited us so I can get proper training for my staff. More

Typical southern buffet where the dishes are authentic and tasty. My favorite was the fried chicken. So much so, I purchased one to go so I could share it with relatives I was on my way to visit near Richmond. $8.50 gets you a freshly sectioned fried chicken and another $2.50 provides a pound of mashed potatoes and gravy. I... More

The title says it all. The food was very good and I filled my stomach, but the selection of food was limited. Not sure I would return.

Had a group of senior adults to eat supper before we attended a nearby show. The service and down home hospitality was excellent. My entire group felt very much at home and welcome. The food was so good, my group is wanting to come eat ever week. (sorry, 2 hours away)

It looked like a great place to eat. Parking lot was full. waited in line for way too long. Man ahead of me was reaching over counter to bag his take out. Cashier was reading menu to customers over the phone. Entire menu including prices and hours. After second reading I left. Long lie of customers waiting while phone was... More

We went for the breakfast buffet based on the great reviews we'd seen. But the food came out of cans, the vegetables were mushy, the gravy wasn't hot, and nothing reminded us of country breakfasts at Grandma's at all. Really disappointing food, and quite expensive to boot. We live in Selma and like to spend our money locally, but we... More

We were travelling on Interstate 95 and saw a billboard for the Robbins Nest Restaurant and decided to try it. The buffet had a wonderful selection of meats, vegetables and desserts and there was a pitcher of iced tea on each table. The shrimp, fried fish and deviled crab were very good. There was also fried chicken, chicken pastry, hamburger... More

We stopped in around 1:30 pm on a Friday for the lunch buffet. I was of the understanding their weekday (M-F) lunch buffet was around $8 per person excluding beverage. We were charged $10 and it appeared they had out their full buffet. With the exception of Sundays I thought most places scaled back their buffets until dinner. In the... More

Since we are semi-locals we decided to try them again. I love BBQ and that is a drawing point for me. We arrived about 5:30 pm and they were very busy. The whole hog BBQ was picked pretty good but still had plenty of meat to choose from. Problem was....it was not even warm....I don't like cool BBQ! The rest... More
