Nice country pub! The chicken parmigiana is so fresh and tasty! You can tell the sauce is homemade! Huge servings and a nice salad to go with it! Also make sure you get aioli with your chips as they have the best aioli!!! It was...rather quiet when we went but that is because of the times we visited and I have heard it can get good vibes on certain days/times. Awesome staff, good food, great beer, what more could you want? Well worth a visit for a true country vibe.More

We had lunch today for the first time at the charming and quaint Condingup Tavern. I had the hamburger with the lot and a side of chips, my wife had the nachos. Without question, it was the best burger I have had in many, many...years. I think I have remembered the contents and it went like this, starting at the bottom : half burger bun, bbq sauce, fried onions, bacon, an excellent meat pattie, a fried egg, grilled cheese, lettuce, tomato, grated carrot, cucumber, beetroot slices, mayo, then the top half of the bun, all held together with 2 wooden skewers - a classic old fashioned Aussie burger if ever you tasted one. The chips were excellent too - perfectly cooked in a good quality oil and a more than generous serve. My wife enjoyed her nachos too but felt there could have been a bit more sour cream on the dish. Congratulations to “The Condy”.More

After having a terrible fish meal at the Pier Hotel, what a pleasant surprise to have a great feed of local snapper WITH a lovely bowl of salad and crunchy chips. Both the battered and grilled fish were spot on for size and taste. One...of our party had a steak sandwich which would put to shame most other places. Nice selection of ice cold beers and wines. Only a small tavern but very comfy with lovely staff.More

We drove the hour from Esperance while here on a short vacation from Perth.. I did my research on what places where recommended in around town, we sure don't mind driving for the experience, service and of course an enjoyable meal.. Was a bit disappointed...with the menu but let it go as we where to make the most of our afternoon which had been great. I asked the staff member if I should have the Nacho's or Veggie burger and she suggested the Nachos over the Burger... I asked for peppers but they didn't stock them... I also asked if I could have the Salsa and the Sour Cream on the side as I would prefer the chips not get soggy... She informed me that "its how they are done here" so I told her I was afraid to order them then and she said that they won't get soggy. My partner ordered the Fish with Prawns and chips.... When our meals came they did look alright, but the Fish, prawns and chips where covered in a cream sauce where you could not see where the fish, chips or prawns began or ended. I had a taste of his fish and knew he would be finishing it on his own and offered him my "what they call Nacho's " but he also did not want them. I hadn't eaten anything that day as we where driving and knew that was where we would be for lunch, so I regrettably ate a few corn chips and found them already soggy and tasteless ... I pushed to aside and did not eat anymore... several times the server walked by us cleaning the tables and never asked how was everything or why the plate was not touched etc. nothing! I would of been very happy to swap my veggie burger for the plate i had and move forward but we never where invited to try. We left very unhappy and hungry..... $80 for time I will never get back again... such a let down. The cobwebs need to be gone...More

Called in for lunch after visiting Cape Le Grand National park. We were the only people there at the time but got talking to the publican. We ordered a beef burger and chicken schnitzel. Nice and hot and fresh. Great meal. Originally from New South...Wales I use to drink Tooheys Old beer. On the beer menu to my surprise was Tooheys Old. It's a bit hard to find in WA and to find it 60km east of Esperance I just had to have one. Great little old pub. Worth a visit.More

Everything about our lunch was excellent. The person serving recommended the snapper burger, as it was fresh and locally caught. The serving size was generous and extremely tasty, really nice. Great setting with large inside and out side areas. Plenty of parking.

It was well worth planning to stop here for a great pub lunch. Nice coffee. Beer and local fish burger. Generous chips and a choice of places to sit inside and out. Definitely recommend this.
