Great atmosphere and very friendly. Went in for a late breakfast on a monday when it wasn't too busy. Our meals took sooo long to arrive that we almost had to leave without eating. When they did arrive they were delicious though. The only other note is that it seemed to be full of dogs. A couple of which almost... More

Cosy cafe/restaurant with open fire heaters and really good food. Went for dinner and did the share plate thing - buttermilk chicken, brocholini and croquettes - everything was delicious but the croquettes were the standout - absolutely delicious I could've easily gone for seconds but couldn't fit it in!! We were so impressed with the food and cheerful service we... More

We come here for breakfast every time we are in Bright and we haven't been let down yet. The fire is always going making sitting outside cosy, the staff are cheerful and attentive, the coffee is fantastic and the meals come out quick and are delicious. The front outside part is always packed with people checking out Bright, people with... More

A lovely spot for a coffee after your morning walk or a very tasty lunch. There is a warm open fire or sit out the back and enjoy the river views. Lots of choices on the menu! Went two days in a row and would have happily gone again.

The food here is lovely and the workers are really friendly. The ambience is perfect and its dog friendly. One of my favourite restaurants ever.

A beautiful sunny day in Bright, lots of people out enjoying the beautiful day. Perfect for enjoying a relaxed lunch overlooking the river in the attractive outdoor area of this cafe. Apparently not! The very rude manager refused point blank to serve us in the outdoor area! Some people have no idea! Luckily there are plenty of beautiful cafes in... More

from the outside it looks a little unusual, but the atmosphere inside is great. During winter the fires are going and you can get a great coffee or tea. The tables are well set out which gives you room to chat.

We've driven past Ginger Baker a few times on our way to Mt Beauty or Harrietville and never actually stopped to sample the wares of this quaint little eatery. Last weekend though, we made the time and must say we were not disappointed! A rough and rural Australian bush facade, creates a homely ambience that is both welcoming and warm.... More

A lovely cafe in Bright, with nice food, good coffee and great wood fires set in an old building on the river front.

We have been there two years ago and had a nice lunch but this time we were just looking for a coffee stop on our bike ride. the magpies had been giving us some attention so... More
