While exploring the town of Bright, came across the Ginger Baker Cafe and stopped in for lunch - a good decision! It was such a pleasant experience - delicious food, friendly attentive service, and rustic yet cosy decor - we returned the following day to try more of the tapas style dishes. And, once again, we had a thoroughly enjoyable... More

There is great food at this place and it's located right next to the river which is kind of nice. My only criticism is that the waitress that served us didn't smile and wasn't very warm. She had no problem greeting your personal friends with plenty of pleasantries, but she didn't have much love for customers which is a shame... More

We lived our lunch at Ginger Baker. The food was delicious and service fantastic. They serve smaller plates for sharing. We found we didn't need as many as were recommended for lunch. 1 per person was definitely enough. Loved the open fires.

We spent a weekend in Bright and ate two breakfasts and two dinners at Ginger Baker. We couldn't fault a thing, so why bother eating anywhere else? The staff were really friendly and attentive, the ambience was lovely with a couple of fire places placed throughout to keep us cosy despite it being cold outside. The menu was great and... More

It was a busy Saturday night in peak ski season but luckily we found a table here, as the food was tasty and interesting with plates to share tapas style. Despite it being an outdoor venue, the drop down awnings and three lovely open fires kept the customers warm and cosy. It is evidently popular with dog-loving locals as their... More

We loved our meal. Easy walk from our accommodation. Nice vibe. I would have to say one of the tastiest & well presented corn fritters I have experienced.

we had a lovely experience here after recomendation from local coffee shop- sixpence. They serve great coffee and quality food. The setting is warm and rustic, we loved sitting by the fire having brunch. Little on the pricey side when eating as a family and there was no kids menu but the kids shared a couple of adult dishes in... More

It doesn't take 20 minutes to make 3 coffees. Coffee was burnt and awful. Under staffed. It's not hard to roster on enough staff for a mildly busy Sunday. Avoid, waste of time.
