We Love Asian food, therefore hundreds if not thousands of restaurants were feeding us. Being a food snob I have to admit we are going either for original cheap Asian food "full of Asians" or recommended/ googled interesting restaurants. On this occasion someone said this a great Asian food. In Barossa there is already the greatest pizza in Australia which... More

Fairly plain interior but pleasant. Food was great but very slow in appearing. We had a degustation and it took hours and hours.

We visited for our anniversary dinner while visiting the Barossa after being advised by a number of locals that this was THE place to eat. We later found out we were lucky to get a table with minimum notice - so lesson for next time ... Book early! We both love Asian food - and this was incredible! The flavours... More

We were told about fermentAsian through our winery tour and we were not disappointed! We ordered plates to share and the food was to die for! Would definitely recommend this to people visiting the area.

Amazing food could not fault the experience. We had the chefs selections and we would visit The Barossa again just to eat here

The new ownership of Barossa & Light Cab Service have dinned here recently. And, it is the perfect couples romantic lunch or dinner location. Ferment Asian is a wonderful dinning destination of the Barossa Valley, and is multi-award winning, showcasing a massive selection of wines. The food here is Southeastern Asian, with home grown produce, that is settled in a... More

We've been trying to get in here for years but our timing was all wrong. Finally made it last night and were not disappointed. It's everything you may have heard and then some. We had the chefs menu, a seven course delight. Fantastic flavours prepared beautifully with wine perfectly matched by the excellent sommeliers. Treat yourself

Small seasonal menu of Northern Vietnamese-influenced cuisine. The focus is on local produce, most of which is grown in the family vegetable and herb garden. The business also boasts the most comprehensive wine list in South Australia, with international focus on wines that harmonise with the subtly spiced Asian cuisine. Don't expect to find a large listing of the sweet-fruited highly-charged and alcoholic Barossa Shiraz's, but you will find pages and pages of Champagne, German Riesling, White and Red Burgundy, Beaujolais, as well as the most comprehensive listing of wines from new and exciting local Barossa, Clare and Adelaide Hills producers. A wine pilgrim's paradise established for the local wine making community, many of whom are seen each night enjoying dinner at fermentAsian.
