We had no booking but the staff accommodated us even though they were busy for a Sunday lunch. All of our 3 courses were delicious. One arrived a little slowly and so the staff apologised and gave us a free glass of wine. The place is noisy but in a good way - obviously a popular spot and the noise... More

Very busy but the staff and food experience was very good - complimented by our cellar door purchase after lunch

Saturday lunch at this great venue in the Barossa. Highly recommend you make a booking. The specials board had Pepperjack Beef Pie with Ratatouille. Yum! Lots of great pizzas were being consumed on other tables. Then in to the tasting bar to sample Mr Pickwicks Tawny Port. 3 Bottles came home with us!

A group of 14 family and friends gathered for a lunch at Salters at the Saltram winery, to celebrate an 80th birthday. We had Champagne and nibbles first then sat for lunch. The choice of dishes was excellent and the chef also arranged a special meal for a vegan family member. Our meals arrived promptly and everyone commented on how... More

This was an eye opener as to the food provided in the wineries. Our group of 4 had the sharing plate starter and individual main courses . Another great place to eat.

We had Sunday lunch sitting inside against the window with a nice view of the little house and garden. I had the scotch fillet on smashed potatoes with a side of sprouts and bacon. The steak was very good but I found the side dish a bit salty for my taste. My partner had the rack of lamb which she... More

We were wine tasting at Saltrams and decided to stay on for lunch. We were fortunate to get the last table available. Our table was next to the window and we had a lovely view of the old vine growing along the wall and the garden. Staff were generally friendly and helpful - we placed our orders then returned to... My partner and I were really disappointed. Maybe our expectations were too high, but the quality of meal was about the same as what you'd get in a pub - just carried a higher price tag. Apparently the menu has just changed, so it might have been better before, but 3 out of the 5 entrees were rubbish (scallops -... More

The kitchen is large and adjacent to the roomy dining room with a small view of the vineyards. The dining area joins with the cellar door so you can taste their wines and choose one to accompany your lunch- no corkage fee. Great service. The pork belly with asian veg. was an euro-asian delight. The lamb loin on couscous was... More
