When here today for morning tea. After being seated we waited for 15 min, no one came near us. No eye contact as they walked past several times was made. Absolutely nothing. With that we left. I’m happy to wait when you can see busy...people working but this was the second visit this week with absolutely no customer service offered, it was definitely our last visit. Ended up at the Seaway Kiosk for the best customer service ever. We had a wonderful lunch. So if you have a lot of time to sit & wait to be served go here but if your after great customer service maybe look further as there are other wonderful places around that area.More

Great spot with views over the Broadwater and the Aquatic Centre leisure pool next door. Had a great Eggs Benny with smoked Salmon and a freshly made green juice! Top notch, staff were friendly and efficient!

I really liked it here. Quick friendly service - the coffee & brownie I had came out quickly and I enjoyed them. The brownie was big. No fuss and reasonably priced.

I ordered a "House smoked ocean trout salad" for lunch. For $28.60 I received a 90 x 15 x 15mm piece of smoked fish, 4 or 5 small lettuce leaves, a few slithers of potato and a small handful of watercress. This feast also took...the best part of an hour to arrive. The rest of our friends at our tabel were equally underwhelmed with their meals. I have no problem with paying $28.50 for a lunch but please, that was a joke!More

Have eaten here before & always happy. Decided to enjoy a nice lunch in a pleasant setting before the trek home Not many in restaurant when we arrived as was only just past midday Took ages to take our order. Chose to have bread before...meal never thinking for a second it would be treated as an entree. When finally arrived, Bread swimming in grease & not overtly tasty. Ordered 2nd round of drinks at this stage. Other diners started arriving, ordering & getting their meals while we sat & sat & sat. Even our drinks were empty. Finally we enquired (1.2 hours) to be told rudely ‘it’s coming’ & we sat some more. No more drinks offered & no one dared come near us. When it finally arrived, (1.5 hrs) I asked the waiter if our meal had been forgotten. I was told it was because we had an entree (garlic bread!!) & nothing forgotten. Still no more drinks offered. Meal nice enough but definitely not worthy of the expense or wait Removed 2 soft drinks from account which was appreciated but I feel they could have tried harder Will think twice next timeMore

We use to really like it here. Service could be slow but food was good. Not now services is even slower but food has gone off. It was greasy and drake grease patchers on plates. The croissant was heater only micro wave and was soft...and wet. Taken of our list till improvesMore

I visited with my mother, and we both enjoyed it. The food was good, they had no trouble accomodating her gluten free requirements, and it wasn't even too expensive.

Great breakfast this morning, lovely atmosphere and view. Love cafes that are dog friendly too. Coffee tasty and service good. Could really enjoy a couple of hours just sipping coffee here. Will definitely come back!

Went for breakfast and will not be back.I was waiting on a meal could see it on the counter so I asked about said meal and was told ubrubtly it’s coming . Was then bought to me and slammed onto the table with a ‘there...you are’ so rude. And I am presuming she was the owner. As a hospitality worker myself for over 30 yrs all I expect is decent service it’s not hard to be polite and obliging sell up if your over your job NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!More

I used to come here for a morning coffee and occasionally for lunch (nice location and easy parking). The food is nice but a bit overpriced for what it is but I was ok with it. Today I was walking past this cafe with my...baby and I desperately was looking for a bathroom to change a nappy. Unfortunately public toilets didn’t have change tables in them so I thought I would quickly use a bathroom at Catalina. It was late afternoon and no customers so I thought it wouldn’t be an inconvenience for the venue. I was told to leave in a rude way by one of staff. I was shocked! I here never experienced such treatment. Will not be going back there ever again and won’t be spending anymore money for their quite average meals.More

I come here a lot. The view is good, the coffee is good and the food is pretty good also. But what let’s this place down is the horrible service. The staff are lazy, rude and have no customer service skills. It’s disappointing to say...the least as it is one of the better cafes in the area.More
