Having travelled extensively we thought the flavours were a little muted compared to the real deal in Germany, but those in our group who have not been to Europe thought it good faire.
The atmosphere and service were good and the prices not too bad.
Brilliant dinner. We came here to celebrate, and the service was super fast & friendly. They went above and beyond, and even offered us a toothpick the second they saw we needed one, we didn’t have to ask for a single thing because the staff...were so on top of everything. The food was great and serious value for money. We will be back for sure :)More
I took my partner there for dinner one night and we were really surprised at how good the food was. Set in a typical German restaurant type scheme the food was good and the service ok. I would return again.
I grew up eating german food. The pork knuckle was nothing to rave about.
On leaving my wife and i were asked how did we find the food.
I walked out as I couldnt really say anything positive about the experience.
Started off badly when...i oreered pineapple juice. It had the metallic taste of canned pineapple.More
Wow, what a great venue, great food, great service. We started (group of 4) with fried sour kraut balls, potato fritters, selection of sausages. The main was a pork knuckle(pre-ordered) and the german pasta. We shared all of this food as there was plenty for...us. The service by a lovely argentine lady was great. We didnt feel rushed for a saturday night seating. The wine and beer choices were great with reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Well done.More
We shared sauerkraut balls for entree- terrific. I had fish this time and it was very nice- I would order that again. My vegetarian friend had the haus version of mac and cheese but commented that despite its cheesy name it needed more cheese.
Pizza reminiscent of Italy
There is a little pizza shop in Sorrento that I have been dreaming of since 2009. We bought a few slices for €10 and then went back every day for more. I have always commented that, to me, it was the...quintessential taste of Italy. Well guess what? Now, if you are in Brisbane, all it takes is a drive to the Switch. This categorically eclipses the Sorrento one, even if you don’t have a view of the Med. Thank you Heisenberg Haus. You just keep on stepping up 🙏🏻More
