Over the past couple of years my friends and family meet regularly at Dinmore Cottage and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience there. Lindy always makes us welcome, the food is fresh and deeeeelicious and given prior notice Lindy will cater...for those with special dietary requirements. Sometimes if they are really busy you may wait a little bit longer for your meal, but the Cottage itself is a very relaxed place, with olde worlde charm in spades and we all need to chill out a bit and smell the roses - so the bit of extra time to chat with friends is never an onerous experience and time passes quickly enough.... it is worth the wait to be able to dine without loud piped music blaring in your ear and screaming kids such as you get in so many places these days. Dinmore Cottage offers a little graciousness and style and the food never fails to delight. It is my number one go to place - and would I recommend it - Hell YesMore

I booked for my very first High Tea experience for my birthday & it was a massive disappointment. Upon arrival at 2pm, there was a lot of commotion going on with moving tables and chairs around. From what we gathered (because it was not communicated...to us), they got someone's booking wrong, and were not prepared for the 10 extra people to rock up (on top of my group of 5, and another group of 15). My friends and I waited 30 minutes before we finally were served a small amount of Coles brand juice in our champagne glasses. Then we waited. An hour had passed since our arrival, and we had run out of juice, and had been served no food. We called a staff member over, and asked if we could have coffees to tide us over, and the response was that no we couldn't as the coffee comes out with the food. So again, we waited. After a total of an hour and 35 minutes since we all arrived AND the 10 people who came after us starting to get their food first instead of us, my friends and I all upped and left. We hadn't had lunch, as we were wanting to enjoy our High Tea. We were all starving! There was no communication from the staff or owner about why there was a delay, and absolutely no apologies, or even a complimentary beverage for making us wait so long! This business completely ruined my first High Tea experience and my birthday celebration. We ended up going to The Coffee Club to finally get something to eat at 4pm, a whole two hours after we arrived for our High Tea. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. **Also it seems the owner deletes her Facebook reviews that are negative, so please check Google and TripAdvisor first**More

From the road this little gem looks nothing but once through the front door you are greeted with a delightful set of rooms full of welcoming tables set with tea things. Our high tea was delicious fresh and more then ample. I felt was good...value for money unlike some high teas I have had over the years. A really lovely experience in a really unexpected placeMore

Had been to Dinmore Cottage once before this visit and thoroughly enjoy everything about this place. SO when my Sister and brother-in-law were down for a visit, and as my sister is coeliac, could think of no better place to take them, as I knew...my sister would enjoy her meal too, as Dinmore Cottage, go out of their way to cater for dietary needs. The setting and décor is beautifully set up, with linen tablecloths and fine china on tables. Everyone is friendly, happy and very efficient. Meals very delicious, salmon, air fried and with a salad, zucchini slice with a salad, and others at table, just had some toasted sandwiches, which were very tasty too. But we were wanting to try their scones, with jam and cream, with our tea, hot chocolate and coffee. The coffee my husband found to be of excellent quality, I think the lady said the coffee was Somerset Coffee, and my sister found the gluten free scones very delicious. Not everywhere we go, is good for my sister, SO we will be returning when they visit us down here in the future. Of course we will ourselves be returning when we can too, would highly recommend Dinmore Cottage to everyone for a beautiful experience.More

Long time for food to come out and quantity was good but quality not so good. The inside was very clean and pretty but the outside of the building is bland and unwelcoming. A big spuce up and paint job and signage would be a...bonus.More

I went to the Dinmore Cottage today to try the high tea. I was very happy with the food as it was delicious and beautifully presented. It was so busy there today that they had to bake a new patch of scones. It was a...bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Oh my god they were so moist, fluffy and big and oh so tasty. The only negative was the serive was a bit slow but the lady herself was so lovely it didnt really matter. I will deffinately reccomend Dinmore Cottage to others and will return again. Well done Dinmore Cottage 5 stars.More

Will tell my friends & relatives what a great place. Extremely homely & comfortable. Easy access, plenty of parking, friendly staff, very interesting shop to purchase gifts, etc.
