Amazing food , lovely staff. A must try if you are staying in croyde.
We had dinner , breakfast and coffee in between. Katsu chicken curry is amazing , all fresh and they use as many local ingredients as they can

What a sheer delight and definitely worth the hype. We were unsure what to expect but the warm hospitality and epic food blew our minds.
The chef was friendly and he was useful in recommending where to hire surf boards and other restaurants. It was nice to meet a man passionate about the local area and not just after our money.
Well done Biffen’s Kitchen and we will definitely see you soon.

Food trucks and pop ups are our favourite places to eat and this is by far the best! Even when queueing the friendly vibe of the staff can be felt and you can see the enthusiasm they have being there. That feeling when you open the box and that gorgeous food is staring back at you, is next level here and the taste to match. You can really tell the thought that has gone into the dishes, as all of those scrummy flavours come together in your mouth.
Also beach is like a 2 minutes away to sit and eat it all with an awesome view.
Overall:
Cannot recommend this place enough, it's just great in every way.

You’re staying in Croyde? CHECK THIS MAN OUT. Honestly I cannot recommend this place enough. Biff has gotta be one of the nicest blokes I’ve ever met. His food is incredible. The location is great and Biffs overall positively towards life and serving you great food by the water is so brilliant! He does a selection of different meals throughout the week and is also open for breakfast in the morning. They have a great selection of coffee and their breakfast baps are simply breathtaking. Head down and see Biff you will not be disappointed.

I stayed for two nights at the Ocean Pitch campsite in Croyde. I noticed they had a food wagon and then noticed everyone off site flocking to it, as well as the campers. Ordered a Morrocan flatbread and hallomi fries, to see what all the fuss was about. I can honestly say that it was restaurant quality. Amazing food and the guys serving were so friendly. Had the goat curry on the second night, also outstanding and no unwanted after effects!

The Morrocan goat wrap is proving very popular at the moment as we keep selling out on the 2nd day which is great as the meat is organic and locally sourced.

I am a massive foodie... My experience of street food can’t help but be related to the rush of London and eating good food on the go. However, there’s something about Biff’s dishes that turns my taste buds into slow motion and allows me to saviour every flavour to the last mouthful. In addition to this, when you approach the van, you’re already in what I like to call ‘Devon mode’: you’re relaxed with the sound of crashing waves behind you and if you’re standing in the queue for a minute or two, there’s a cracking beach view to get lost in.
When I visited Biffen’s Kitchen, I was served by the smiliest and friendliest of faces and then presented with my food in a matter of minutes. On this occasion I took my mum for a meal and with it being winter and us being disorganised, it worked out being dark by the time we were at the van. However, we were so excited by the smell of our biffen’s bag of goodness that we had to simply grab the bench over looking the sea and eat it there and then! We set up a phone as a light and ate with the accompaniment of the ocean at high tide.
I cannot recommend Biff’s little surf inspired street food escape enough. He’s running the tightest of ships and deserves every ounce of success for his truly delectable food.
Make sure you get down there and try it, but please restrain yourself save enough for me!

We came to Biffen's Kitchen because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and they didn't disappoint.
Biffen's speciality for dinner is katsu curry and it is the best I have ever tasted. We tried the fish and chicken katsu, halloumi fries and potato puffs. It was all absolutely delicious, served with wonderful pickled salad and vegetables. The fish was exceptional and local. They do kids potions of the chicken. Excellent value for money, tasty and fresh. We are coming back for more!
Slightly tricky to park as the food truck is on a campsite and non campsite vehicles are not allowed.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful.
I sipped a lovely ginger G and T whilst I was waiting for my order.
Well done Biffen's Kitchen, first class!

We like to keep our portion sizes available for kids and adults as well as keeping the flavours bold that mild spice so everybody can enjoy it.
Unfortunately because we are on a small campsite we can’t allow parking but there are plenty of parking car parks in the area :)

This is our second year of camping at Ocean Pitch and again we were not disappointed by the food provided at Biffens Kitchen.
We turned up early for our pitch having had a long drive down from Yorkshire. Although Biff had just finished serving breakfast, he was more than happy to feed us. That was a great start to our holiday and the good food did not stop there. We had the chance to have the Jamaican chicken and the Mexican chilli (both meat and vegetarian) throughout the week and loved it all. The halloumi fries are also a must.
Biff is so passionate about the food he cooks and the service he and the team provide is honestly second to none. If you want to experience this fabulous food than make sure you get there early as they sell out quickly.
We are returning for another week camping in September and can't wait to be fed again by Biff and his team, it is honestly one of the highlights of our holiday in Croyde. Fingers crossed it is Katsu Curry week !!
Best of luck for the rest of the season Biff, I know it is going to be a busy one for you all.

We turned up expecting the number one rating to be hype. I can tell you that is not the case. We had the katsu chicken which was a taste sensation with amazing accompaniments. The fried potato balls are a revelation. Really friendly team serving up voodoo.

I visited Biffen’s a couple of years ago and asked if he had any gluten free. Unfortunately, he didn’t but was very apologetic. So, when I turned up this weekend I had already planned to buy food somewhere else, but thought I’d double check again just incase. Good job I did because he now offers loads of great gluten free options and has a whole dedicated fryer! Couldn’t let that slip away without feasting on a sunny Saturday night, so we bought a cauliflower katsu curry, potato puffs and halloumi sticks. The food was all incredible and really big portions too! There are also gf options for breakfast and lunch which I would have had if my budget had allowed….next time for sure!
Highly recommend if you need a gluten free feast whilst in Croyde. Super friendly staff and happy to accommodate. Just make sure you buy one of everything because it’s all SO GOOD!

We have been visiting Croyde 4-5 time’s per year for the last 18 years. Over the times we have found some of our favourite things to do and places to eat. For the past few years, the addition of Biffens Kitchen has made our trips even more exciting. Simple reason for this is that Biffens have managed to create an incredible blend of true fresh and passionate cooking. This is street food at its very best and and it is clear that George is very knowledgeable on all ingredients and enjoys experimenting and bringing amazing flavours together. The cherry on the cake with this place is that although he is well loved and gets busy, they control waiting times very well and provides each customer with a friendly and personal experience. For that touch I tip my hat!
My advice to all, get there early to avoid missing this amazing food, try more than once as menu changes each night, take a cheeky beer to enjoy whilst waiting and watching the team in action, take the food over the beach and enjoy the sunset (remembering to take rubbish back with you as this bay is natural phenomenon).
Keep up the good work team, will see you soon and I wish you every success.

We turned up at about 7:30 and we had a fairly large group but they stayed open and were happy to serve us. Thank you George for an amazing Katsu Curry! The halloumi fries were great too. If you’re looking for places to eat in Croyde I’d definitely recommend it, the food tastes amazing and they’re so friendly :) There was a bit of a queue but then you have to queue outside most places at the moment anyway. Once we’d ordered we received our food really quickly and the nearby benches were free for us to sit. We’ll be coming back!!

Before writing this review, I considered not bothering when so many others have rated this eatery 5 star. But, we felt that although the food was tasty, it wasn't that great. It was Katsu night and my son had chicken and I had cauliflower. The chicken was dry (possibly overcooked) and the cauliflower was burnt We'd been recommended Biffen's Kitchen and looked forward to trying it out for ourselves. £27 for two takeaways, one side dish in disposable boxes. We left feeling disappointed. Clearly, we're in the minority here. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The setting great. The food in my opinion, over rated and over priced.

I am sorry you didn't have a great experience, and I hope you can come down again to try the new katsu menu.
I have taken on your feedback, and from this, we now use chicken thigh over the breast, and our cauliflower batter is thicker and more flavoursome to protect the florets.
At the moment, our menu prices are the most value for money in the area, and with the continuous price increases of oil, chicken and flour - we have had to make a marginal increase to our prices from last year.
I hope you can come down again and enjoy our food the way everyone else has.

The cauliflower katsu curry was so good that we went back again the next day to try the breakfast, which was also excellent. Coffee was nice and strong to sort us out for the day! The team were so friendly and even thought they were busy, they took time to get to know you and give you local recommendations.
I didn't catch the names of the staff who served me but thank you for your recommendation of where to go for a secluded cove for a quick dip - freezing but well worth it!

Have munched Biffen’s kitchen twice now and both times it’s absolutely heaven!!!! The food is utterly delicious, staff are really friendly and the views are beautiful. The second time we visited, my boyfriend and I took our Katsu curries down to the beach and sat and watched the sun go down, highly recommend! I can’t wait to return to Biffen’s kitchen again soon ❤️
