The Chef/Owner loves his work and his guests, which shines through in the wonderful food freshly prepared in his kitchen and delivered with a smile to your table. Beautifully presented and ample portions. Sicilian families eat here, so the ambience is terrific. We recommend you arrive early at 7pm and linger over your food, make it a celebration! The owner... We stumbled across this restaurant by chance whilst we were out visiting the salt ponds outside Trapani. It is located along the shore line and although its appearance is nothing special, it does serve great food at a very reasonable price. Lunch for two, including a shared starter, a main course, a beer, a carafe of wine, and desert cost... More

Dine right on the edge of the Salt Marsh in Trapani, Sicily with the salty wind blowing past waited on by lovely, friendly staff and a very jovial (English speaking) host. Just the right spot after a full day of travelling around the area. Good simple food - try the Fritto Misto del Golfo for a true taste of the... More

We were tired and hungry after visiting the salt flats, and checking Tripadvisor, we were very happy to see a restaurant nearby with positive reviews. Sadly we were not impressed with La Torre di Nubia. The decor is very tired, dated and unloved, like nothing changed for 30 years. A stunning seafront view towards the Egadi Islands, but tarnished by... More

I must say the food was tasty, but the local wine not so much. The service is a little bit slow and the restaurant also is not at it's best. There is so much potential for making things better. But in an average sence it was not a bad experience.

Not easy to find place, but If You visiting Trapani You've got to try it. Delicious sea food, good pizza and very tasty fish of the day. Acceptable prices. Very friendly owners!

Hard to find because Garmin locates it in Nubia where it used to be. Instead it is right on the coast, within sight of the Museo del Sale. A gorgeous view of the islands off of Trapani. We had a great fish lunch, including Insalata di Mare, with Octopus and Mussels, and fresh whole fish baked in salt. Good house... More

A great find on a lovely day. Our host presented a variety of fresh fish. We chose a white fish. Baked in a crust of salt. Moist and delicious. Had a side of perfectly grilled vegetables.
