We were recommended to this place by our hotel and we're glad for the recommendation because we could not get a table at our first choice restaurant. It was an informal outdoor setting and our waiter Giuseppe made it a wonderful evening. We had busiate al pesto trapanese and a busiate with shrimp. Excellent. Giuseppe was good enough to "spill... We had a lovely meal here. We had the fishcakes for starters, which were delicious. For mains I had the ‘special of the day’, this was a very tasty tuna with spaghetti and the other half had fried calamari and salad, which he was very happy with. The person who took our order was very friendly. They were quite busy... More

This place is located down a back street a little away from the main restaurant area so you probably wouldn't stumble across it unless you knew it was here. We had tried to eat here a couple of nights ago but it was full so figured it must be pretty good. We ordered a couple of starters to share. One... More

The food is just amazing. From the appetizers to the main courses. Let the owner suggest you what to try, if you want. He is very nice and ready to suggest the best dishes. If you are still hungry you can try a huge cannolo as dessert, but then you will need a walk! Better to book a table.

Food was ok, the Lamuri wine has turned, and the service was flat. A forgettable experience on all accounts. We saw a very animated man greeting other guests and a chef showing them fresh fish, so we may have entered too early to get a good experience.

Brilliant food with ergo typical Italian vibe. Just ask the host for his favorite dishes and he is more than happy to help you.

This restaurant was recommended for the traditional pasta and sardines Sicilian dish and it was excellent. The cannoli for dessert was also very good.

A good address in old town Trapani, this taverna serves a bit of seafood, a bit of couscous dishes, and a bit of pasta. Very reasonably priced Sicilian wines add to its attraction. Busy always, and relatively small, it serves to reserve. Rapid and friendly service. Avoid their sea urchin pasta. Impossible to discern the eggs or taste them.

The third place we had dinner at during our stay in town. Warm reception, cozy atmosphere, good wine list. But the food lacked the impressiveness of the other two places we saw. Don't get me wrong, the food was excellent by non-Sicilian standards. However, when benchmarked locally, we missed the wow. Very good, not great.
