Don't understand the hype. It was OK, nothing more nothing less. Antipasti was good, the veal strips with balsamico very uninteresting and tasteless.

Everything is excellent but the portions are huge. We shared two excellent salads for four of us with apple and walnuts to start. My daughters had scallopine vitello with almond sauce(amazing) and busiate with pecorino also amazing. I had the filleto vitello with speck ham and parmesan. My wife had the busiate al pesto trapani which she was warned that... More

I ate here three times in week, one lunch and two dinners. All booked in advance. Everything, as usual, was excellent. I shall just mention one of the dinners. A starter with three types of Tuna, with Peccarino and Quince jam. There was a Bottaga, a Cappacio and I think, a Sausage. Salty and amazing. Followed by Couscous with Soupe de... More

We visited this restaurant last night, it is almost next door to our apartment that we have lived in for the past month we walk past almost daily and then read about it on TA, finally on Sunday made a reservation as one of the staff was out side. The Restaurant was closed but he we took us inside and... More

Excellent choice of Sicilian cuisine with daily specials. Just off the Trapani port. Very good service. No wonder it's always full. Booking a must! Will certainly revisit.

Little culinary treasure in Trapani that we discovered by accident. In the middle of the day, lost in the little streets... The best place to try the flavors of Sicily - made by people who love to feed others. We recommend.

The name is an italian word that refers to a filthy, dirty, dismal place where to eat so if you are italian you get surprised when entering this very fine and classy restaurant in Trapani. Food is great and not overpriced, I only had busiate alla norma which I utterly loved: homemade fresh pasta with norma sauce and smoked ricotta... More

My boyfriend and I ate here on a Thursday night, fortunately we'd emailed ahead and booked as the restaurant was full and quite a few people were turned away. The gentleman that took our order was really accommodating, but we didn't have much interaction with the other members of staff. The food was really good (& the menu was partly... More

This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Sicily. It takes its food and wine seriously and creates an easy relaxed atmosphere for its customers. The staff are helpful, attentive and efficient and the menu offers many tempting choices. We visited three times on this trip twice for dinner and once for lunch. Each time the food was exceptional, we... More
