My soul sister and I came to Grainau quite late and were really hungry. So, after check in at the hotel, we had a nice evening tour to find restaurant for dinner.
So, this hotel seemed so lovely with those lights. Like a dream. It...More
We had a lovely meal at this restaurant tonight. I have been seeking to order seasonal crispy pork all week at other restaurants but, alas, all were sold out — except Jagerstuberl! It was worth the wait: slow cooked so the flesh was tender, then...More
My husband and I ate here just tonight and are compelled to write this revue. Not only was our food delicious, but we loved giving the business to this wonderful family. We had the Schnitzel Jagerstuberl with onions, mustard and bacon. It was delicious, and...More
Despite the German name of the place large part of the menu is based on Balkan meals, which is a bit misleading since I was looking for something "echt aus Tyrol". But the meal I got was good and tasty with attentive waiting staff.
If you are looking for something different than overfried schnitzel just go there. We tried mix grill and spaghetti with mussels and everything was delicious. We got last free table, so it is better to call for reservation before going there.
We had dinner January 7th. We had been there 1 year ago and wanted to eat there great "Schnitzel with Parmesan".
We went there and where treated wonderfull, the ladies are very kind and the Schnitzel was no longer in the menu but they did...More

My friends and I were looking for a meal in Grainau and this place happened to be a 2 minute walk from our AirBnb.
The service was great and the food was amazing. I mistakenly did not get the garlic soup, which we had seen...More
From a friendly welcome to delicious, truly authentic German food, Restaurant Jägerstüberl was outstanding. It truly has earned its reputation as one of the best restaurants (if not the best) in Grainau. The Schweineschnitzel was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed lunch in the shadow...More
We came across this gem by random chance at 1:40 pm on an idyllic, sunny, all day bike ride that started and ended in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Jagerstuberl had a great front patio full of tables facing the Zugspitze and looked like a magazine cover for the...More
