This is a great place to eat all during the day. Prices are low and the food and service is great. I wish there were other locations.

Most mid-range motel chains have been including a buffet breakfast, ranging from cold "continental" fare to hot eggs-and-meat pairings, in their nightly rate for about a quarter century. It's convenient and quick, and provides enough sustenance to get a traveler going down the road until lunchtime. They also haven't changed much, as in getting any better or worse, but it's... More

This was a welcome change to the usual food chains. The service was great. We enjoyed authentic Southern fish fry dish and grilled chicken tenders. Loved the hush puppies, fried okra and fried green tomatoes. A perfect diner experience. We needed a doggie bag!

After sitting down we noticed the table hadn't been fully wiped off, and dead flies on the window sill. Our server was a teenager who I'm sure drew the short straw when our party walked in. He placed the drink platter half on a neighboring table, and when he removed two drinks from the table side the platter flipped onto... More

You know what you're getting. Diner food at diner prices. Not all homemade but still good. Chicken strips and chips are good. Service is inconsistent. But you do get called sweetie and shug

The Highway Diner is everything that the exterior promises. There's 1950's decor, and license plates from all across the country adorn the walls along with photos of iconic celebrities in their prime. Chrome trims everything inside and out. As the reviews indicated, the place was packed when we arrived, but we did manage to find a table. Our waitress was... More

Wide breakfast and lunch menu. I had a hard time just choosing one entree! Had pimento cheese, green tomato sandwich. It was delicious! Good service. We were part of a large group and had a really good diner-dining experience!

Stopped at this location while hunting for a fast food restaurant. Sunday Afternoon and restaurant was full. They served a "Blue Plate" special of BBQ chicken with sides which seemed to be drawing the people. There was different special for each day of the week. As far as getting a table, it was frick and frack. We were finally seated... More

Had a great lunch here. The burgers are large and the fries are fantastic. They have a lot of comfort food options and specials every day. The food is cooked and delivered fresh and hot. The décor is awesome if you want to feel like you have gone back in time. The deserts are very good and definitely shareable portions.... More
