My family has eaten here for years and it is a favorite. Delicious burgers and fries are our favorites. Tea or sodas, hotdogs and some breakfast items too. Always served on little pieces of waxed paper so no dishes to wash or waste. Good food and always busy. Go and enjoy! :)

So your asking yourself "what is this place seemingly so off the beaten path?" If you know someone in Rocky Mount, chances are they grew up eating hotdogs on a Saturday at Central. This is a genuine, no-frills, down-home soda-counter burger joint, where you with worth-your-while wait for a table on the weekend. But what no one tells you upon... More

Central Cafe is an old fashion hot dog/hamburger joint that has been around for years. Steamed buns that melt in your mouth for the best hot dog you've ever eaten! It's all about the chili and they only have red wieners. Best sweet tea in the South! Don't be put off by the building; it's old, but that is part... More

Great burgers in an old-timey setting. Loved that they don't waste plates but serve their food on little pieces of wax paper. 😃

Old fashioned, down home burger joint. Nostalgic and friendly staff. You will leave happy and satisfied.

Just went again yesterday. There was a mix of professionals and blue collar workers. The prices are unbeatable and the FOOD is amazing. If you love a greasy cheeseburger, where the juices run down your wrist, this is the place for you. There is none better in Rocky Mount.

The best authentic fast food restaurant in the area. I have been a patron for at least two decades and, hopefully, will continue to be a frequent visitor when I am in the downtown area. The food is consistently great and what you would expect.

Great burgers and fries and hot dogs. Be sure to order chili on your burger. And get a beverage with ice, they have the best ice!!

I used to go here for lunch all of the time with my grandparents during the summer. During the school year, I don't get to visit as much as I would like but try to go every now and then. LOVE this place. Cannot get enough.
